Abstract

A method for systematizing and presenting information about planned events consists in creating an electronic calendar in one or several languages, in which each event includes a variety of information regarding the date and time of the event, the location thereof and other additional (useful) information, including advertising information, and the category and/or type and/or group to which the event belongs. The calendar allows events to be sorted (filtered) according to language, event location (country and/or town/city and/or geographical coordinates), time (date or period), and category and/or type of event. The calendar, or a part thereof in the case of the use of filters (sorting), is exported to a file (format) with an extension corresponding to a calendar event file, and a direct link is generated to said file, inter alia in the form of a QR code. Thereafter, the QR code can be scanned from a site on the Internet or from a point of display in a public setting (on advertising spaces in airports and train stations, or on theatre or museum tickets), using a camera of a mobile device, and the calendar file can be uploaded to the memory of said mobile device. The inclusion of the above-mentioned information (date, time, contacts, event location coordinates) in the calendar event file facilitates navigation around town as well as personal scheduling taking into account upcoming events, and also allows efficient organization of business processes.

METHOD FOR SYSTEMATIZING AND PRESENTING INFORMATION ABOUT PLANNED EVENTS

An important aspect of the life of modern society is the possibility of planning events. The calendar has a special place in the life of every person.

With the development of electronic mobile devices (phones, smartphones, tablet computers), calendars have significantly shifted from paper to electronic media.

Currently, various services are available for storing data on planned events, including, among other things, the following capabilities:

- Formation of a file of a calendar event with the ability to download it from the Internet via a link;

Embedding links to content (media files) from social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Vkontakte, Whatsapp, etc.), as well as from media portals (Youtube, GoogleDocs, etc.);

- Storing the calendar (calendar event files) on the server, synchronizing calendar events on various devices (personal computer, tablet, smartphone, electronic clock, etc.);

Availability of events (calendar subscription) for various contacts.

Also noteworthy is the ubiquitous distribution of the QR code (English Quick Response Code) - a readable optical tag containing information about the object to which it is attached. A QR code is made up of black squares arranged in a square grid on a white background that can be read by imaging devices such as a camera.

Below is a method for organizing and presenting information about planned events using various types (permissions) of files, as well as using the method of presenting information in the form of a QR code.

Disclosure of the invention:

Speaking of any tourist center in the context of planning a trip, or planning leisure activities for specific dates, it is impossible to do without mentioning the major events that are planned for the period of the trip. For example: concerts (performances) of world celebrities, city festivals, anniversaries of significant historical events. Often, information about such events can significantly affect the choice of travel destination for attending the above events.

Also, there is often a situation when, upon arrival at the tourist center, a guest of the city wants to get acquainted with the entertainment activities planned in the short term for planning leisure.

Usually such information is available on websites dedicated to tourist centers. For example: www.mos.ru (this site contains information about events taking place in the city of Moscow) or www.iamsterdam.nl (tourist portal of Amsterdam, the Netherlands).

Also, this information is widely distributed in paper form (travel brochures, newspapers, leaflets).

In addition, the information can be downloaded as a file to a mobile phone (smartphone) in * .pdf or other format.

It should be noted that information on Internet sites is available only online, if there is access to the Internet, which cannot always be used due to the restrictions of cellular operators (high cost of services for the provision of mobile Internet in roaming or the absence of such a service).

Paper carriers quickly lose their presentation, wear out, get lost, and are often not very convenient to use.

A file saved on a mobile device does not have the ability to configure notifications (reminders) about an upcoming event, does not always contain information about the exact location of the event, the organizer's contacts.

Structure:

The present invention (method) combines the following steps:

1. Formation of an electronic calendar, each event of which includes, among other things, the following information in one or more languages:

- Date (period) and time of the event;

- Venue of the event (indication of the country and / or city and / or region and / or geographical coordinates: width, longitude, or a permanent link to the venue on Internet portals: Google.maps, Bing, Maps.yandex.ru, etc. );

- Description of the event;

- Photo (video) content about the event; - Contact information of the venue of the event and / or the organizer of the event;

- Additional (useful) information, including advertising;

- Category (type, group) of events.

2. Presentation of the calendar on the Internet site with the ability to sort events (apply filters) according to the choice of language, location of the event (country and / or city and / or geographical coordinates), time of the event (choice of date or period), category and / or type of event (for example: sports, music, history, gastronomic, etc.).

3. Possibility of exporting the calendar or its part in case of applying filters (sorting) in the format with the extension: * .ical, * .icalx, * .ics, * .ifb, * .icalendar, * .bcc, * .vcs, *. caldav, * .webdav H flp.

4. Formation of a direct link to the file in the form of a QR code with the possibility of subsequent scanning of the QR code using a camera of a mobile phone (smartphone) and / or tablet computer and / or "smart watch" and / or "smart glasses".

5. Downloading the calendar file to the memory of a mobile phone (smartphone) and / or tablet computer and / or “smart watch” and / or “smart glasses”.

Thus, a tourist arriving in the city will be able in advance, or directly at the airport (at a train station, other transport hub), to choose a language that is convenient for him, sort events by their time (in accordance with the dates of visiting the tourist place) and / or type of events, and in the most convenient way, by scanning a QR code, upload information about events to the mobile device that he uses.

At the same time, it is fundamentally important that there is no need for the subsequent use of paper carriers of information about events, as well as the ability to inform the user (tourist) about upcoming events in accordance with the current (personal) settings of the mobile device that he uses (type of sound, volume, frequency), etc.

It is possible to place a QR code with a link to a calendar file on large-format advertising structures (cityboards, crystal lights, media facades), which will allow you to quickly scan the QR code from various distances (from 1 to 100 meters) and upload electronic calendars to mobile devices. For example, at an airport or train station (in the arrival), a QR code can be placed on the media screen containing information about the most significant events in the city for the next week.

It is also possible to locally place a QR code, for example, on theater and / or museum (exhibition) tickets, while the QR code contains a link to a calendar of theater (museum, exhibition, etc.) events for the coming season (month, quarter, half a year, etc.).

The calendar can be effectively used in organizing logistics and other business processes.

To obtain the above information, an interested person just needs to point the camera at the QR code and confirm the download of the file.

In some software interfaces (IOS, Android), this action can be represented as “subscribe to a calendar”, “subscribe / confirm a subscription”.

In the future, the user will have access to data on the contacts of the event organizer, the venue of the event, and other related (useful, advertising) information directly in the mobile device.

Of particular note is the simplicity and ease of use of the presented method. The instructions for the calendar may look like this:

“To install a calendar on your phone, follow 3 simple steps:

1. Point your smartphone's camera at the QR code above.

2. Follow the link provided.

3. Subscribe to the "calendar title" calendar.

Result:

- Providing convenient presentation and subsequent storage of information about scheduled calendar events;

- Creation of a convenient and comfortable navigation system for moving around the city (by downloading information about the venue of the event to a mobile device);

- No need to register, transfer personal data to third parties to obtain information about calendar events (in the case when the QR code is published in open sources, public places, etc.);

- No need to install additional software on the used mobile device (except for the software used to recognize the QR code using the camera of the mobile device); - Receipt of additional funds for the publisher of the calendar due to advertising (if it is placed in the information about a calendar event).

A method for organizing and presenting information about planned events, which consists in the fact that:

- an electronic calendar is generated in one or several languages, each event of which includes, inter alia, information about the date and time of the event, the location of the event, a description of the event, contact information of the venue and / or the organizer of the event, information of an advertising nature , category and / or type and / or group of events;

- the calendar is presented in various sources of information, including on the Internet, with the possibility of sorting events: applying filters by choice of language, location of the event, time of the event, category and / or type of event;

- the calendar or its part in the case of applying filters (sorting) is exported to a file with the extension: * .ical and / or * .icalx and / or * .ics and / or * .icsx, and / or * .calDAV and / or * .webDAV, and / or * .ifb and / or *. icalendar and / or * .bcc and / or * .vcs or another calendar event format with the formation of a direct link to the file, including in the form of a QR code;

- it is possible to subsequently scan the QR code using the camera of the mobile device and, accordingly, download the calendar file to the memory of the mobile device;

- it is possible to use the software available (at the time of download) on the mobile device for processing data about the venue of the event, as well as contact details of the venue and / or the organizer of the event, without installing additional software.
