Abstract
A traffic sensor box arranged to be mounted to a street light pole placed next to a road, wherein said traffic sensor box is arranged to detect traffic on said road, said traffic sensor box comprising: -at least one radar sensor for determining a distance of said traffic sensor box to a moving object on said road; -a processor for determining a velocity of said moving object on said road based on subsequent determined distances by said at least one radar sensor, wherein said traffic sensor box further comprises: -position orientation means arranged for determining a position of said traffic sensor box with respect to said road based on subsequent determined distances by said at least one radar sensor and based on said determined velocity of said moving object.
