A SYSTEM, A METHOD AND A CONSULTATION DEVICE FOR PERSONAL AND PORTABLE ON-DEMAND VIDEO CONSULTATION
TECHNICAL FIELD
Embodiments of the present invention relate generally to healthcare technologies and more particularly to a system and a method for providing product & service information through bot to healthcare customers.
BACKGROUND ART
Healthcare is one of the most crucial factor for every individual. In most countries, different healthcare ecosystems are formed to roll out various policies to cater the individuals/patients. The ecosystems/policies are designed in such a manner so as to provide quality healthcare to huge number of patients. As the numbers of patients are increasing significantly, it is a problem to manage all the patients as everybody is intended to be attended first over other.
Numerous manual and electronic methods have been adopted by healthcare providers to cater huge number of patients. For example, manually monitoring/registering of patients visiting to a healthcare provider (HCP)/doctor. A lot many other electronic methods have been also adopted, for an instance, patient queue management through booking an online appointment.
The conventional methods arranges an order in which patients have to be attended, however, they suffer from a plurality of shortcomings such as but not limited to, these methods make the patient waiting for a long in a lobby as the HCP is occupied with other patient. Further, as the HCPs are crowded with many patient appointments everyday, the patient quality time with HCPs is compromised. As the HCP and patients ratio is very low in few countries, many times the patient’s consultation time is so less that many discussions, for an instance, convey of patient problems, patient education, HCP or advice are skipped and directly medical prescriptions are advised. After a long wait patients hardly get hardly time to health related issues or hear from the HCPs as he/she is again busy to attend further waiting patients. In addition, in view of HCP standpoint, they would need to repeat certain advice again and again with many patients who all fall under same disease/treatment category. Many a times the productive time goes in this repeated activity which can be better used in seeing more patients if those repeated advice can be provided avoided. Therefore, there remains a need in the art for a system and a method for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation that does not suffer from the above mentioned deficiencies or atleast provide a viable and effective alternative.
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
An aspect of the present invention provides a system for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation.
Another aspect of the present invention provides a method for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation.
Yet another aspect of the present invention provides a consultation device for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation.
SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVENTION
The present invention is described hereinafter by various embodiments. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiment set forth herein. Rather, the embodiment is provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a system for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation. The system comprises one or more client computing devices associated with one or more visitors, one or more consultant computing devices associated with a Health Care Professional (HCP) and a consultation device connected with the one or more client computing devices and the one or more consultant computing devices. The consultation device includes a media storage module, a wireless adapter module, a server module, a processing module, an network module and a power supply. Further, the wireless adapter module is configured to establish a wireless intranet network to connect the consultation device to the one or more client computing devices and the one or more consultant computing devices. Furthermore, the server module is configured to share and receive a plurality of web content, data and media content from the one or more connected consultant computing devices, upon successful connection via the wireless intranet network and share a plurality of web content, data and media content URLs with a menu to the one or more connected client computing devices for accessing and rendering the plurality of the shared media content via the connected wireless intranet network. Additionally, the processing module is configured to control & process the plurality of web content, the data & the media content, and facilitates sharing of the plurality of web content, the data and the media content. In addition, the media storage module is configured to store and retrieve the plurality of web content, the data and the media content. Additionally, the network module is configured to connect the consultation device with internet through wired or wireless access point and the power supply is configured to supply electric power required to operate the consultation device.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the one or more client computing devices and the one or more client computing devices are selected from one of a laptop, a desktop and a portable handheld device.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the server module is further configured to establish an IP for the consultation device with or without a local domain name and provide respective IP addresses for the one or more consultant computing devices and the one or more client computing devices.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the media content is selected from a video, an audio, images, animations and a combination thereof, with interactivity.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the one or more consultant computing devices, upon connection with the consultation device, is configured to manage the plurality of web content, the data and the media content on the consultation device through a captive portal, a custom client application or a browser.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the one or more consultant computing devices are also configured to record the media content and/or select pre-existing or pre-recorded media contents and store in the media storage module.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the one or more consultant computing devices are configured to set an access code for the one or more client computing devices to enter and get authorized to render the data, the media content and the web content through the wireless intranet network.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the one or more consultant computing devices are configured to manage an SSID and a password of the wireless intranet network established by consultation device. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the one or more consultant computing devices are configured to set a price and receive a payment from the one or more client computing devices, via an external payment gateway, for accessing the media content from the consultation device.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the plurality of web content, the data and the media content URLs comprise web pages, embedded media players to allow the one or more client computing devices to render the plurality of web content, the data and the media contents stored on the consultation device.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the menu is configured to enable the one or more client computing devices to change and render different plurality of web content, the data and Media content via different plurality of web content, the data and Media content URLs.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the system further comprises a plurality of wifi extenders or routers to extend a coverage of wireless intranet network to enable a greater number of the one or more client computing devices and the one or more consultant computing devices to connect.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation. The method comprises the steps of establishing a wireless intranet network using a wireless adapter module of a consultation device, connecting one or more client computing devices and one or more consultant computing devices with the established wireless intranet network, receiving a plurality of web content, data and media content on the consultation device, from the one or more connected consultant computing devices using a server module of the consultation device, controlling & processing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content using a processing module of the consultation device, storing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content on the media storage module of the consultation device, sharing or broadcasting a plurality of web content, data and media content URLs with a menu to the one or more connected client computing devices for accessing and rendering the plurality of the shared media content via the wireless intranet network.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the one or more client computing devices and the one or more client computing devices are selected from one of a laptop, a desktop and a portable handheld device. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the method further comprises a step of connecting the consultation device to the internet through a wired or wireless access point using the network module.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the method further comprises a step of providing a plurality of wifi extenders or routers to extend a coverage of wireless intranet network to enable a greater number of the one or more client computing devices to connect.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the step of establishing a wireless intranet network further comprises a step of establishing an IP for the consultation device with or without a local domain name and provide respective IP addresses for the one or more consultant computing devices and the one or more client computing devices, using the the server module.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the method further comprises a step of managing an SSID and a password of the wireless intranet network established by consultation device.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the media content is selected from an video, an audio, images, animation and a combination thereof, with interactivity.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the step of receiving the media content on the consultation device, comprises a step of recording the media content and/or select pre-existing or pre-recorded media contents from the one or more consultant computing devices and store in the media storage module.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the step of controlling and processing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content, further comprises a step of managing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content on the consultation device through a captive portal, a custom client application or a browser.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the step of controlling and processing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content, further comprises a step of setting an access code for the one or more client computing devices to enter and get authorized to render the data, the media content and the web content through the wireless intranet network.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the step of sharing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content, further comprises a step of setting a price and receive a payment at the one or more consultant computing devices, via an external payment gateway, from the one or more client computing devices for accessing the media content from the consultation device.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided a consultation device for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation. The consultation device is connected with one or more client computing devices associated with one or more visitors and one or more consultant computing devices associated with a Health Care Professional (HCP). The consultation device comprises a media storage module, a wireless adapter module, a server module, a processing module, an network module and a power supply. Further, the wireless adapter module is configured to establish a wireless intranet network to connect the consultation device to the one or more client computing devices and the one or more consultant computing devices. Furthermore, the server module is configured to share and receive a plurality of web content, data and media content from the one or more connected consultant computing devices, upon successful connection via the wireless intranet network and share a plurality of web content, data and media content URLs with a menu to the one or more connected client computing devices for accessing and rendering the plurality of the shared media content via the connected wireless intranet network. Additionally, the processing module is configured to control & process the plurality of web content, the data & the media content, and facilitates sharing of the plurality of web content, the data and the media content. In addition, the media storage module is configured to store and retrieve the plurality of web content, the data and the media content. Additionally, the network module is configured to connect the consultation device with internet through wired or wireless access point and the power supply is configured to supply electric power required to operate the consultation device. Further, the various embodiments described herein below include specific method steps in an exemplary order but a wide variety of other such method steps could be implemented within the scope of the invention, including additional steps, omission of some steps, or performing the method in a different order.
Embodiments of the present invention aims to solve the problems of prior arts by providing a personal and portable on-demand video consultation system. This system essentially has three components viz. a portable Consultation device, the consultant computing devices (such as smartphones etc.) associated with a consultant (healthcare professional (HCP)/ doctor) and the client computing devices (such as smartphones etc.) associated with patients. In brief, the system enables HCPs to record certain topics, which are very essential and regular to be educated to particular group of patients. For example: Diet related topics for diabetes patient or dyslipidemia patient. These topics can be recorded as video speech with or without associated media content.
Using their smartphones, FICPs can record their videos and store them in the consultation device. This consultation device may approximately be as small as size of a smartphone and it can be carried wherever the FICP is consulting. Once the FICP starts the consultation device, a wifi network will be established, similar to a wifi hotspot. The wifi network here is a wireless intranet network. The FICP can configure the SSID name and password of the wifi network using his/her connected smartphone. For Example: the Wifi name may be same as the HCP/doctor’s name.
The patients visiting the HCP can always connect to this wifi network and get access to all media content stored on the consultation device in a form of web, video advice etc. about various topic. This will allow the patient to utilize the waiting time in the doctor’s lobby or hospital lobby before consultation. If the patients have any questions regarding the video message being delivered, then they may ask those questions to HCP/doctor during consultation. This enables the HCPs to monetize the on-demand video consultation through setting up access code, which will be shared after payment or in-built payment systems.
The present invention is described hereinafter by various embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawing, wherein reference numerals used in the accompanying drawing correspond to the like elements throughout the description.
Figure 1 illustrates a system (100) for providing personal and portable on- demand video consultation, in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. As shown in figure 1 , the system (100) comprises one or more consultant computing devices (104) associated with a healthcare professional (106) and a plurality of client computing devices (108) associated with one or more of visitors (1 10) connected with a consultation device (102). The one or more visitors (1 10) may be, but not limited to, patients and people accompanying the patients to a medical facility for consultation (generally relatives and/or friends). The healthcare professional (106) is selected from, but not limited to, doctors, medical practitioners & care givers such as physicians etc. who often advice patients who is concerned with promoting, maintaining, or restoring health of the patients. In one embodiment, the one or more consultant computing devices (104) may be operated by assistants of the healthcare professional (HCP).
The one or more consultant computing devices (104) are, but not limited to, personal portable handheld device of the healthcare professional (106). The one or more consultant computing devices (104) may be selected from a group comprising mobile handheld devices (such as mobile phones, PDA and tablet PCs etc.) and notebooks etc. The one or more consultant computing devices (104) is envisaged to be connected with one or more input devices (such as a keyboard, a camera, microphone etc.) (not shown) and one or more output devices (such as a display screen, speaker etc.) (not shown). In case of mobile handheld devices such as a smartphone, the one or more input devices and the one or more output devices may be integrally provided. For example, in touch-input based camera-enabled smartphone no external devices need to be connected.
The one or more consultant computing devices (104) is envisaged to include computing capabilities such as a memory unit (not shown) configured to store machine readable instructions. The machine readable instructions may be loaded into the memory unit from a non-transitory machine-readable medium such as, but not limited to, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs and Flash Drives. Alternately, the machine readable instructions may be loaded in a form of a computer software program into the memory unit. The memory unit in that manner may be selected from a group comprising EPROM, EEPROM and Flash memory. Further, the one or more consultant computing devices (104) includes a processor or plurality of high speed computing processors with multiple cores (not shown) operably connected with the memory unit. In various embodiments, the processor is one of, but not limited to, a general purpose processor, an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and a field-programmable gate array (FPGA).
In addition, the one or more client computing devices (108) is, but not limited to, portable handheld device, laptop, desktop, tablet. The one or more client computing devices (108) may be selected from a group comprising mobile handheld devices (such as mobile phones, PDA and tablet PCs etc.), Desktop PCs and notebooks etc. The one or more client computing devices (108) is envisaged to be connected with one or more input devices (such as a keyboard, a camera, microphone etc.) (not shown) and one or more output devices (such as a display screen, speaker etc.) (not shown). In case of mobile handheld devices such as a smartphone, the one or more input devices and the one or more output devices may be integrally provided. For example, in touch-input based camera-enabled smartphone no external devices need to be connected.

In various embodiments, the processor is one of, but not limited to, a general purpose processor, an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and a field-programmable gate array (FPGA). Furthermore, the consultation device (102) comprises, but not limited to, a media storage module (1022), a wireless adapter module (1030), a server module (1024), a processing module (1026), an network module (1028) and a power supply (1032).
The wireless adapter module (1030) is configured to establish a wireless intranet network (1 18) to connect the consultation device (102) to the one or more client computing devices (108) and the one or more consultant computing devices (104). The wireless adapter module (1030) is envisaged to include Wifi wireless radios to establish Wifi intranet network access point. The wireless intranet network (1 18) may be implemented using a number of protocols, such as but not limited to, TCP/IP, 3GPP, 3GPP2, LTE, IEEE 802.x, HTTP, HTTPS, UDP, RTMP etc. One would appreciate that the wireless intranet network (1 18) can be a short-range communication network and/or a long-range communication network.
In addition, the server module (1024) is envisaged to include computing capabilities such as a memory unit (not shown) configured to store machine readable instructions. The machine readable instructions may be loaded into the memory unit from a non-transitory machine-readable medium such as, but not limited to, CD- ROMs, DVD-ROMs and Flash Drives. Alternately, the machine readable instructions may be loaded in a form of a computer software program into the memory unit. The memory unit in that manner may be selected from a group comprising EPROM, EEPROM and Flash memory.
Further, the server module (1024) includes a processor or plurality of high speed computing processors with multiple cores (not shown) operably connected with the memory unit. In various embodiments, the processor is one of, but not limited to, a general purpose processor, an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and a field-programmable gate array (FPGA). The server module (1024) is envisaged to be configured with a media server, web server, DHCP server and DNS server to enable the server module (1024) to share and receive a plurality of web content, data and media content from the one or more connected consultant computing devices (104), upon successful connection via the wireless intranet network (1 18). Herein the media content is selected from, but not limited to, a video, an audio, images, animations and a combination thereof, with interactivity.
Further, the server module (1024) is also configured to share a plurality of web content and media content URLs with a menu to the one or more connected client computing devices (108) for accessing and rendering the plurality of the shared media content via the connected wireless intranet network (1 18). The media content URLs may comprise, but not limited to, web pages and embedded media players along with menu options to change different media content.
Moreover, the processing module (1026) is envisaged to include computing capabilities such as a memory unit (not shown) configured to store machine readable instructions, respectively. The machine readable instructions may be loaded into the memory unit from a non-transitory machine-readable medium such as, but not limited to, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs and Flash Drives. Alternately, the machine readable instructions may be loaded in a form of a computer software program into the memory unit. The memory unit in that manner may be selected from a group comprising EPROM, EEPROM and Flash memory.
The processing module (1026) also includes a processor or plurality of high speed computing processors with multiple cores (not shown) operably connected with the memory unit. In various embodiments, the processor is one of, but not limited to, a general purpose processor, an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) and a field-programmable gate array (FPGA). The machine readable instructions configure the processing module (1026) to control & process the data, the media content, the web content and facilitates sharing of the plurality of web content, the data and the media content.
Also, the media storage module (1022) is may be a cloud based storage or a local storage. In any manner, the media storage module (1022) is envisaged to be capable of providing the data to any of the modules and the components connected within the system (100), when the data is queried appropriately using applicable security and other data transfer protocols. The media storage module (1022) is configured to store and retrieve the plurality of web content, the data and the media content.
Furthermore, the network module (1028) is configured to connect the consultation device (102) with internet through wired or wireless access point. The internet may be one of, but not limited to, wired network or wireless network or a Local Area Network (LAN) or a Wide Area Network (WAN). The internet may be implemented using a number of protocols, such as but not limited to, TCP/IP, 3GPP, 3GPP2, LTE, IEEE 802.x, HTTP, HTTPS, UDP, RTMP etc. Also included in the consultation device (102) is the power supply (1032) is configured to supply electric power required to operate the consultation device (102). The power supply (1032) may be, but not limited to, a removable or non-removable battery that may be rechargeable. In that case, the consultation device (102) may be wireless. In another embodiment the power supply (1032) may have to be connected with an electrical socket through a wire to supply the necessary electric power. This would reduce the weight of the consultation device (102) as there would be no requirement of storage battery and consequently, eliminates the requirement of pre charging the consultation device (102) before operation.
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the system (100) further comprises, but not limited to, Wireless mesh router, Wi-Fi mesh network devices, Wi-Fi extenders or routers, Gateways and switches. The plurality of wifi extenders or routers enable the consultation device (102) to extend a coverage of wireless intranet network (1 18) to enable a greater number of the one or more client computing devices (108) and the one or more consultant computing devices (104) to connect.
Figure 2 illustrates a method (200) (200) for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation, in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The implementation and the information flow of the method (200) (200) and system (100) (100) has been illustrated in figure 3, an accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. The method (200) (200) begins at step 202 by establishing establishing the wireless intranet network (1 18) using the wireless adapter module (1030) of a consultation device (102). Then, the server module (1024) establishes an IP for the consultation device (102) with or without a local domain name.
Then at step 204, the one or more client computing devices (108) and one or more computing consultant devices are connected with the established wireless intranet network (1 18). The server module (1024) also provides respective IP addresses for the one or more consultant computing devices (104) and the one or more client computing devices (108). The connection now allows the one or more client computing devices (108) and one or more computing consultant devices to access the contents on the consultation device (102) through a captive portal, a custom client application or a browser.
The one or more consultant computing devices (104) may be used to manage an SSID and a password of the wireless intranet network (1 18) established by consultation device (102). After that, at step 206, a plurality of web content, data and media content is received on the consultation device (102), from the one or more connected consultant computing devices (104) using the server module (1024). The media content may be recorded at that moment (like a live recording). Alternately, pre existing or pre-recorded media contents may be selected from the one or more consultant computing devices (104). The media content, as previously mentioned, is selected from, but not limited to, the video, the audio, the images, the animation and a combination thereof, with interactivity. For example: a healthcare professional (106) may record an audio visual (AV) on his/her smartphone talking about cholesterol problems and ways to tackle it. Or he/she may record a presentation talking about healthy diet plans, eye care etc. Additionally, the one or more connected consultant computing devices (104) may also download the plurality of web content and the data from the internet, in order to make additional information available to the one or more visitors (1 10) (patients and their relatives). The plurality of web content and the data may include, but not limited to, informatory videos, images, animations, presentations or a combination thereof, related to various common medical problems and procedures selected by the healthcare professional (106).
Furthermore, at step 208, the processing module (1026) is configured to control & process the media content, the web content. The processing may involve, but not limited to, transcoding or/and encoding of the plurality of web content, the data and the media content stored in the media storage module (1022). Additionally, the plurality of web content, the data and the media content on the consultation device (102) may be managed through a captive portal, a custom client application or a browser using the one or more consultant computing devices (104), once connection with the consultation device (102).
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, an access code may be set for the one or more client computing devices (108) to enter and get authorized to access the data, the media content and the web content through the wireless intranet network (1 18). Furthermore, the processing module (1026) may also be configured to generate a respective plurality of Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) associated with each of the plurality of web content, the data and the media content stored in the media storage module (1022). The URLs comprise, but not limited to, web pages and embedded media players. Then, at step 210, the plurality of web content, the data and the media content are stored on the media storage module (1022) of the consultation device (102). All the plurality of web content, the data and the media content may be retrieved, as and when required, by the one or more consultant computing devices (104) and the one or more client computing devices (108), using appropriate security and data transfer protocols. Then, at step 212, the server module (1024) is configured to share or broadcast the plurality of web content, data and media content URLs with a menu to the one or more connected client computing devices (108). The plurality of web content, data and media content URLs may be used for accessing and rendering the plurality of the shared media content on the one or more connected client computing devices (108), through a captive portal via the wireless intranet network (1 18). The menu is configured to enable the one or more client computing devices (108) to change and render different Media content URLs available on the consultation device (102).
In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, the one or more consultant computing devices (104) may also be configured to set a price for allowing access to the media content from the consultation device (102). An external payment gateway may be established and a payment from the one or more client computing devices (108) to the one or more consultant computing devices (104) may be made. After the successful payment, another access code may be provided to the one or more client computing devices (108) to grant access to the content saved on the consultation device (102).
The present invention offers a number of advantages. Firstly, the present invention offers a cost-effective and easy to implement solution to the problems of prior art. Further, the present invention allows the patient to utilize the waiting time in the doctor’s lobby or hospital lobby before consultation. If the patients have any questions regarding the video message being delivered, then they may ask those questions to FICP/doctor during consultation. Additionally, the present invention enables the FICPs to monetize the on-demand video consultation through setting up access code, which will be shared after payment or in-built payment systems.
Examples of the computing device may include, but are not limited to, a personal computer, a portable computing device, a tablet, a laptop, a mobile computer, a wearable computer, a communication device such as a smartphone, and a personal digital assistant, and the like. Moreover, the computing device includes a plurality of electronic components for example, such as a microprocessor, a graphics processor unit (GPU), a memory unit, a power source and a user interface. Exemplary user interface includes one or more buttons, a gesture interface, a knob, an audio interface, and a touch based interface, and the like.
Further, one would appreciate that the communication network can be a short- range communication network and/or a long-range communication network, wire or wireless communication network. The communication interface includes, but not limited to, a serial communication interface, a parallel communication interface or a combination thereof.
Exemplary relevant content may include, but not limited to, audio, graphics, video, animation, interactivity, polls, surveys, URLs, embedded media players to render media content and combination thereof.
Various modifications to these embodiments are apparent to those skilled in the art from the description. The principles associated with the various embodiments described herein may be applied to other embodiments. Therefore, the description is not intended to be limited to the embodiments but is to be providing broadest scope consistent with the principles and the novel and inventive features disclosed or suggested herein. Accordingly, the invention is anticipated to hold on to all other such alternatives, modifications, and variations that fall within the scope of the present invention.

Claims

We claim:
1. A system (100) for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation, the system (100) comprising:
one or more client computing devices (108) associated with one or more visitors (1 10);
one or more consultant computing devices (104) associated with a Healthcare professional (106) (HCP); and
a consultation device (102) connected with the one or more client computing devices (108) and the one or more consultant computing devices (104), the consultation device (102) including a media storage module (1022), a wireless adapter module (1030), a server module (1024), a processing module (1026), an network module (1028) and a power supply (1032);
wherein the wireless adapter module (1030) is configured to establish a wireless intranet network (118) to connect the consultation device (102) to the one or more client computing devices (108) and the one or more consultant computing devices (104);
wherein the server module (1024) is configured to:
share and receive a plurality of web content, data and media content from the one or more connected consultant computing devices (104), upon successful connection via the wireless intranet network (1 18);
share a plurality of web content, data and media content URLs with a menu to the one or more connected client computing devices (108) for accessing and rendering the plurality of the shared media content via the connected wireless intranet network (1 18); wherein the processing module (1026) is configured to control & process the plurality of web content, the data & the media content, and facilitates sharing of the plurality of web content, the data and the media content;
wherein the media storage module (1022) is configured to store and retrieve the plurality of web content, the data and the media content;
wherein the network module (1028) is configured to connect the consultation device (102) with internet through wired or wireless access point; and wherein the power supply (1032) is configured to supply electric power required to operate the consultation device (102).
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the one or more client computing devices (108) and the one or more consultant computing devices (108) is one of a laptop, a desktop and a portable handheld device.

The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the server module (1024) comprises a plurality of servers configured to establish an IP for the consultation device (102) with or without a local domain name and provide respective IP addresses for the one or more consultant computing devices (104) and the one or more client computing devices (108).
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the media content is one of a video, an audio, images, animations and a combination thereof, with interactivity.
5. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the one or more consultant computing devices (104), upon connection with the consultation device (102), is configured to manage the plurality of web content, the data and the media content on the consultation device (102) through a captive portal, a custom client application or a browser.
6. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the one or more consultant computing devices (104) are also configured to record the media content and/or select pre-existing or pre-recorded media contents and store in the media storage module (1022).
7. The system (100) as claimed in 1 , wherein the one or more consultant computing devices (104) are configured to set an access code for the one or more client computing devices (108) to enter and get authorized to render the data, the media content and the web content through the wireless intranet network (118).
8. The system (100) as claimed in 1 , wherein the one or more consultant computing devices (104) are configured to manage an SSID and a password of the wireless intranet network (1 18) established by consultation device (102).
9. The system (100) as claimed in 1 , wherein the one or more consultant computing devices (104) are configured to set a price and receive a payment from the one or more client computing devices (108), via an external payment gateway, for accessing the media content from the consultation device (102).

The system (100) as claimed in 1 , wherein the plurality of web content, the data and the media content URLs comprise web pages, embedded media players to allow the one or more client computing devices (108) to render the plurality of web content, the data and the media contents stored on the consultation device (102).
1 1 . The system (100) as claimed in 10, wherein the menu is configured to enable the one or more client computing devices (108) to change and render different plurality of web content, the data and Media content via different plurality of web content, the data and Media content URLs.
12. The system (100) as claimed in 1 , further comprises a plurality of wifi extenders or routers to extend a coverage of wireless intranet network (1 18) to enable a greater number of the one or more client computing devices (108) and the one or more consultant computing devices (104) to connect.
13. A method (200) for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation, the method (200) comprising:
establishing (202) a wireless intranet network (1 18) using a wireless adapter module (1030) and a network module of a consultation device (102); connecting (204) one or more client computing devices (108) and one or more consultant computing devices (104) with the established wireless intranet network (1 18);
receiving (206) a plurality of web content, data and media content on the consultation device (102), from the one or more connected consultant computing devices (104) using a server module (1024) of the consultation device (102);
controlling & processing (208) plurality of web content, the data and the media content using a processing module (1026) of the consultation device (102);
storing (210) the plurality of web content, the data and the media content on the media storage module (1022) of the consultation device (102); and sharing or broadcasting (212) a plurality of web content, data and media content URLs with a menu to the one or more connected client computing devices (108) for accessing and rendering the plurality of the shared media content via the wireless intranet network (1 18).
14. The method (200) as claimed in claim 13, wherein each of the one or more client computing devices (108) and the one or more consultant computing devices (108) is one of a laptop, a desktop and a portable handheld device.
15. The method (200) as claimed in claim 13 further comprising a step of connecting the consultation device (102) to the internet through a wired or wireless access point using the network module (1028).
16. The method (200) as claimed in claim 13 further comprising a step of providing a plurality of wifi extenders or routers to extend a coverage of wireless intranet network (1 18) to enable a greater number of the one or more client computing devices (108) to connect.
17. The method (200) as claimed in claim 13, wherein the step of establishing a wireless intranet network (1 18) further comprises a step of establishing an IP for the consultation device (102) with or without a local domain name and provide respective IP addresses for the one or more consultant computing devices (104) and the one or more client computing devices (108), using the the server module (1024).
18. The method (200) as claimed in 13, further comprising a step of managing an SSID and a password of the wireless intranet network (1 18) established by consultation device (102).
19. The method (200) as claimed in claim 13, wherein the media content is one of a video, an audio, images, animation and a combination thereof, with interactivity.
20. The method (200) as claimed in claim 13, wherein the step of receiving the media content on the consultation device (102), comprises a step of recording the media content and/or select pre-existing or pre-recorded media contents from the one or more consultant computing devices (104) and store in the media storage module (1022).
21 . The method (200) as claimed in claim 13, wherein the step of controlling and processing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content, further comprises a step of managing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content on the consultation device (102) through a captive portal, a custom client application or a browser.

The method (200) as claimed in 13, wherein the step of controlling and processing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content, further comprises a step of setting an access code for the one or more client computing devices (108) to enter and get authorized to render the data, the media content and the web content through the wireless intranet network (1 18).
23. The method (200) as claimed in 13, wherein the step of sharing the plurality of web content, the data and the media content, further comprises a step of setting a price and receive a payment at the one or more consultant computing devices (104), via an external payment gateway, from the one or more client computing devices (108) for accessing the media content from the consultation device (102).
24. The method (200) as claimed in 13, wherein the plurality of web content, the data and the media content URLs comprise web pages, embedded media players to allow the one or more client computing devices (108) to render the plurality of web content, the data and the media contents stored on the consultation device (102).
25. The method (200) as claimed in 24, wherein the menu is configured to enable the one or more client computing devices (108) to change and render different plurality of web content, the data and Media content via different plurality of web content, the data and Media content URLs.
26. A consultation device (102) for providing personal and portable on-demand video consultation, the consultation device (102) being connected with one or more client computing devices (108) associated with one or more visitors (1 10) and one or more consultant computing devices (104) associated with a Healthcare professional (106) (HCP), the consultation device (102) comprising: a media storage module (1022);
a wireless adapter module (1030);
a server module (1024);
a processing module (1026);
an network module (1028); and
a power supply (1032); wherein the wireless adapter module (1030) is configured to establish a wireless intranet network (1 18) to connect the consultation device (102) to the one or more client computing devices (108) and the one or more consultant computing devices (104);
wherein the server module (1024) is configured to:
share and receive a plurality of web content, data and media content from the one or more connected consultant computing devices (104), upon successful connection via the wireless intranet network (1 18),;
share a plurality of web content, data and media content URLs with a menu to the one or more connected client computing devices (108) for accessing and rendering the plurality of the shared media content via the connected wireless intranet network (1 18);
wherein the processing module (1026) is configured to control & process the plurality of web content, the data & the media content, and facilitates sharing of the plurality of web content, the data and the media content;
wherein the media storage module (1 022) is configured to store and retrieve the plurality of web content, the data and the media content;
wherein the network module (1028) is configured to connect the consultation device (102) with internet through wired or wireless access point; and
wherein the power supply (1032) is configured to supply electric power required to operate the consultation device (102).
