Description
“Remote-controlled anti-burglary system”
Description
Field of the invention
The present invention relates to control systems of access to sensitive materials, of particular economic value or dangerous such as weapons and the like. More in detail, the subject system relates to a remote-controlled safety device. Even more specifically, the present invention integrates the alarm and emergency management system by a remotely positioned operating center.
Prior art
A number of security systems are known in the prior art aimed to prevent the break-in of safes and events such as theft and robbery, in particular public or private places such as banks, jewelers or places where weapons are stored.
Such systems are very often limited to the simple video surveillance of accesses or points in which the containers of such objects of interest are stored, which are, in fact, money, precious objects, weapons or the like.
The images are processed and saved to a server accessible by an operating center that takes care of the remote video surveillance service.
The reliance on images taken by video cameras for security, observed by operators at the operating stations, does not however guarantee an efficient system in order to detect and/or determine arising situations as the concentration time of an operator who stares at monitors starts to drop significantly after the first thirty minutes. This situation is also aggravated by any phenomena related to human judgment, or the assessment of the risk made by the watch who remotely observes the images taken by the cameras. These factors can contribute to delaying or canceling the necessary activation of processes linked to the detection of emerging situations. Some international patents, such as the Chinese utility model CN 203 78 32 71, are aimed at monitoring sensitive areas in order to discourage break-ins and, if they occur, to gather evidence to be used in the context of a judicial process against the attacker. The utility model mentioned, in particular, relates to a remotely controlled electronic locking system. The system includes an electronic lock mounted on a door, a video camera mounted near the door that frames it and a remote device that can control the
electronic door lock and the camera. The electronic door lock comprises an infrared detecting device which is able to detect if whether the electronic lock of the door has been unlocked in an anomalous manner. In this case, the system that is the subject of the Chinese patent is able to automatically initiate a call to the person in charge of supervised access in the event of an attempted break-in.
This, like the other patents currently existing at international level, does not solve any problems in an effective manner, such as the need for a timely intervention by law enforcement agencies.
It is clear that the invention just described, as well as other objects of patents, do not sufficiently solve the problems outlined above.
Description of the invention
According to the present invention, a system is provided which is capable of overcoming the above problems through technological systems installed on site and remote services at at least one operating station.
The present invention will be applicable in all commercial activities and private homes.
The hardware components of the subject system are numerous and are all advantageously controlled, through the connection to the IP network infrastructure and telephone provider, through which, an operator of an operating center is able to monitor the transmitted images and the alarm signals and is consequently able to act promptly in case of emergency through operational procedures that contemplate the activation of intervention processes and/or direct interaction through command and control interfaces.
The system bases its function of remotization of security services through the primary contribution of the video footage of the context scenario, which assist the activities carried out by the operating center operators in charge of activating their emergency response procedures and to the institutional bodies (carabinieri/police, health service, fire brigade, blasters).
In particular, the software is equipped with an alarm and video surveillance system in order to control and monitor the area in the vicinity of the totem and the outside/inside of the place where it will be positioned, updated in real time, to protect objects present inside the totem and allow the intervention as quickly as possible.
Due to this fundamental feature, the subject system has the advantages of preventing, or in any case immediately stopping, acts of thefts and/or robberies.
The system will be advantageously structured and equipped according to the specific mission to be carried out at the recipient site.
In particular, the compartment whose opening is controlled remotely may contain a safe or may be tailored to the needs of custody of the various users.
If the totem is adapted to the custody of weapons, inside the opening compartment a rack will be installed in which a weapon is placed in each stall.
The opening of the compartment openable through the procedure provided between the user and the operator of the operating center is not sufficient for access to weapons.
Each stall, in fact, is advantageously provided with a special sensor or an NFC detector that identifies the user who picks up the weapon. The sensor is adapted to unlock the stall only if the identified user is authorized to withdraw. Said sensor, moreover, is adapted to send to the dedicated server also the exact date and time in which the weapon is picked up and by whom. The data on the return of the weapon in a specific date and time is also recorded in memory.
The main advantage offered by the totem of the present invention lies in the possibility of opening the compartment which keeps the objects at risk only and exclusively through the operator of the operating center by pressing the supervisory support key which, by drawing up detailed operating procedures, will activate an audio/video communication with the user enabling to the disconnection of the present alarm system and the opening for access to the safe or the compartment. A camera capable of filming the surrounding area is positioned at the front to allow identification of access authorized persons. When the door is opened without authorization, an alarm signal is generated automatically to the operating center, which in turn will quickly perform the appropriate video checks, communications with any persons in the vicinity of the totem and, if necessary, activate sending the immediate intervention. The subject system may also be used for the purposes of safety through the possibility of pressing the sanitary emergency key, thereby activating an audio/video communication with the user for any need to find information on emerging events in progress (illness, principles of fire, injuries, etc.) taking charge of activating the emergency procedures.
Access to the technological control facilities will be positioned behind the totem with doors protected by a key.
In the upper part at the back of the totem there will be the components that make up the power supply of the equipment present there and the technologies that control the
functionality of the entire system according to features known to the man skilled in the art. Furthermore, possible implementations of the hardware equipment installed in the place in which the totem of the present invention is installed are envisaged. The system may be expanded and modulated according to customer needs by adding both cameras and sensors of all kinds at points outside the totem.
Optionally, through the audio speakers, voice messages can also be emitted by the dedicated operator so that they are audible to all users present. Again in order to make the alarm known immediately to all those present, a plurality of light indicators may also be installed which, in the event of an emergency, are activated with a fixed or flashing light even in the presence of smoke.
These safety features will make the custody of weapons, documents or valuables in the safe and emergency management much more simplified than what has been done up to now. With the present invention, in fact, the operating station, even remotely positioned, can act immediately and support the interventions in an optimized manner.
The advantages offered by the present invention are clear in the light of the above description and will be even clearer from the accompanying figures and the related detailed description.
Description of the figures
The invention will hereinafter be described in at least one preferred embodiment thereof by way of non-limiting example with the aid of the accompanying figures, in which:

- FIGURE 3 shows the connection of the totem 100 with the other components of the system object of the present invention. Said totem 100 is in direct communication with the system of video cameras 21, the speakers 15 and the smoke or tear gas dischargers 19 possibly installed in the monitored place 600. All of the system’s hardware devices, via the Internet network 400, communicate and are controlled by a dedicated operator 520 of a remotely positioned operating center 500. This operating center 500 has access to the dedicated software 300 which manages the data traffic and which stores the recorded images and the interventions carried out to the memory. The operating center 500, moreover, is in preferential communication with the rescue means 200 which are called according to the emergencies that occur.
Detailed description of the invention
The present invention will now be described purely by way of non-limiting or binding example with the aid of the figures, which illustrate some embodiments relative to the present inventive concept.
With reference to FIG. 1, one of the preferred embodiments of the present invention is shown.
This is an anti-burglary system that houses a common safe 30 placed inside the openable compartment 12 of a totem 100 which is controlled and monitored remotely by a dedicated operator 520 located in an operating center 500.
Via the Internet connection means 400 with which it is provided, the totem 100 sends all the data collected by its instruments to said operating center 500 in which the dedicated operator 520 is responsible for opening the openable compartment 12 and is adapted to the evaluation of any emergency situations by analyzing the transmitted images.
Said totem 100, in fact, is equipped with at least one integrated video camera 7 and the system comprises at least one camera 20 installed in the place 600 to be monitored that surrounds the totem 100 itself. Preferably, a complete system of cameras 21 will be installed in the place 600 to monitor all the space surrounding the totem 100.
All the images filmed by the cameras 7-20-21 are sent to the dedicated server 300 which said operating center 500 uses, to be processed using a dedicated software designed to perform, through special algorithms, the overall analysis of the scene, the facial recognition of the persons present in the place 600 to be monitored, the detection of any masking of the face. The other devices integrated into the totem 100, in addition to the openable compartment 12
and the camera 7, are: a first key 11 which the user presses to request the support of the watch, request the opening of the openable compartment 12 and obtain it by executing a pre- established procedure known only to authorized personnel; a second key 11 that the user presses to signal to the operating center 500 an emergency of any kind (fire, robbery, health emergency, ...) for which prompt intervention is required; a stroboscopic light 1 placed at the highest point of the totem 100 which is adapted to turn on reversibly when sending any alarm; a speaker 6 and a microphone 8 for sending and receiving audio data in real time from and to the dedicated operator 520 when the operating center 500 is requested by pressing one of said keys 11; an optical scanner 9 and an NFC identification device 10 adapted to recognize users by scanning the retina and/or detecting the fingerprint or scanning an NFC identifying device univocally associated with each user authorized to open the openable compartment 12; a touch screen display 5 showing the image of the operator 520 following a call and during any emergency procedures; a system of smoke dischargers adapted to be used in the event of detected attempt to break through a plurality of outlet holes 4 adapted to allow the diffusion of the smoke into the environment, obstructing the opening of the openable compartment 12; a machine 3 adapted to emit any staining agent on the body of any ill-intentioned person in the event of an attempt to tamper with the totem 100.
In the place 600 in which the totem 100 is installed, optionally and preferably, in addition to the camera 20 or the camera system 21, a plurality of speakers 15 are installed, designed to emit an alarm signal in case of emergency and, if necessary, to allow the issuing of voice messages by the dedicated operator 520, audible throughout the monitored area 600. It is also possible to install light signaling devices to be lit with a fixed or flashing light in the event that any alarm has been triggered. In the same event, smoke or tear gas dischargers 19 installed in the area 600 to be monitored may also be triggered.
With reference to FIG. 2, a possible variant of the totem 100 of the present invention is shown which, instead of the safe 30, in the openable compartment 12 houses a rack 40 for weapons 50. Each weapon 50 is kept in its stall 41-42- ... protected by a sensor 45 for detecting the time interval during which the corresponding weapon 50 was taken from the respective stall 41-42- ...
