Abstract

The invention relates to a water dispenser (1 ) comprising a body (2), a feeding region (3) provided on the body (2), enabling clean water to be delivered on the body (2), a pump (4) enabling conveying water (S) from the feeding region (3), and at least one heat changer (5) enabling the conveyed water to reach the temperature requested by the user, by changing its temperature.

Description

A WATER DISPENSER
The present invention relates to a water dispenser.
Nowadays, tap water is not preferred as drinking water with regard to hygiene and health concerns. Generally, bottled water is used as drinking water at homes and in workplaces. Water dispensers are widely used to obtain such bottled water in desired temperatures, whether hot or cold. Water dispensers enable obtaining cold water, or hot water which can be used for preparing drinks such as tea or coffee. Usually, in order to increase the daily water consumption, various fruits or vegetables are kept in water to obtain flavored water. This enables a more pleasant consumption of water and makes water more beneficial in terms of health. However, flavored water cannot be obtained from water dispensers, requiring the user to keep a fruit or a vegetable in water to be able to obtain flavored water.
State of the art European patent application document no. EP2586345 mentions a drink preparation machine.
The aim of the present invention is to realize a water dispenser for dispensing water.
The water dispenser realized to achieve the aim of the present invention and disclosed in the first claim and the dependent claims, comprises a body, a feeding region delivering water on the body, a pump enabling water to be conveyed from the feeding region, and a heat changer enabling changing the temperature of the water. Water reaches to the user by being drawn from the feeding region by means of the pump. Both, cold and hot water may be provided to the user by means of the heat changer.
The water dispenser of the invention comprises a cartridge and a mixing chamber provided on the body. Various flavors are provided on the cartridge. The flavors delivered from the cartridge and the water drawn from the feeding region are mixed in the mixing chamber. Flavored water is thus obtained. The flavor and the water are mixed homogeneously in the mixing chamber.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser comprises a flavor channel enabling the flavor to be delivered to the mixing chamber, with one of its ends disposed on the cartridge and the other end disposed on the mixing chamber.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser comprises a control unit enabling conveying to the mixing chamber, water in an amount determined by the user and flavor in an amount determined by the user,. According to the flavor level determined by the user, the flavor amounts related to the water amount is predetermined on the control unit by the producer. By this means, an amount of flavor is enabled to be mixed, which is adequate to the selected water amount and flavor level.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser comprises a control unit enabling delivering to the mixing chamber, the amount of flavor and water according to the water temperature and the flavor level determined by the user. Since varying amounts of flavor dissolve in varying water temperatures, the amounts of flavor related to the water temperature and flavor level are predefined on the control unit by the producer. By this means, water can be obtained according to the desired flavor level and temperature.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser comprises a mixer provided on the mixing chamber. The mixer comprises an extension provided so as to be vertical to the base of the mixing chamber, and a plurality of flaps provided on the extension. The extension rotates about its own axis. The water and the flavor is enabled to mix homogeneously by means of said flaps.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser comprises a weight sensor provided on the base of the mixing chamber. The weight value corresponding to the amount of water determined by the user, is pre-saved on the control unit by the producer. The water amount is determined by means of the weight sensor, enabling the desired amount of water to be provided.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser comprises a control panel having a plurality of buttons enabling determining the amount of water and the flavor level.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser comprises a plurality of illumination means provided on the control panel, enabling the user to be informed. The amount of flavor remaining in the cartridge, the selected volume of water and the selected amount of flavor can be seen by the user by means of the illumination means.
The water dispenser realized to achieve the aims of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying drawing, wherein:

The water dispenser (1) comprises a body (2), a feeding region (3) provided on the body (2), enabling clean water to be delivered on the body (2), a pump (4) enabling conveying water (S) from the feeding region (3), and at least one heat changer (5) enabling the conveyed water to reach the temperature requested by the user, by changing its temperature. The clean water is delivered to the body (2) from the feeding region (3). Water (S) in various temperatures is provided to the user by means of the heat changer (5). (Figure 1)
The water dispenser (1) of the invention comprises a cartridge (7) provided on the body (2), on which a plurality of various flavors are disposed, and a mixing chamber (6) enabling the clean water delivered from the feeding region (3) and the flavors delivered from the cartridge (7) to be combined and mixed homogeneously. The flavors and the water (S) are mixed homogeneously in the mixing chamber (6). Flavored water is thus provided to the user. (Figure 2)

Different amounts of flavor can be dissolved in different water temperatures. The mixing duration in the mixing chamber (6) varies according to the dissolution proportions of the flavors. The control unit determines the flavor amount and the mixing duration depending on the selected water temperature and the flavor level.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser (1) comprises a mixer (12) provided on the mixing chamber (6) so as to be vertical to the base of the mixing chamber (6), comprising a plurality of flaps (11) on a vertical extension (10), and enabling the flavor and the water to be mixed homogeneously by means of the flaps (11) by rotation of the extension (10) about its own axis. The extension (10) is provided on the base of the mixing chamber (6) so as to be vertical to the base. The flaps (11) are provided on the extension (10). The flaps (11) move within the mixing chamber (6) as the extension (10) rotates about its axis. The water and the flavor is thus enabled to mix homogeneously.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser (1) comprises a weight sensor (13) provided on the base of the mixing chamber (6), enabling determining the weight value of the water amount determined by the user, corresponding to the water amount pre-saved to the control unit (9) by the producer. The weight sensor (13) is provided on the base of the mixing chamber (6). The weight values corresponding to the amounts of water selected by the user, are pre-saved on the control unit (9) by the producer. The weight of the water transferred to the mixing chamber (6) is measured by means of the weight sensor (13), providing water in the amount selected by the user.
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser (1) comprises a control panel (15) having a plurality of buttons (14) enabling the user to determine the water temperature, the water amount and the flavor amount. The user can determine the water level, water temperature and the flavor level by means of the buttons (14) provided on the control panel (15). (Figure 3)
In an embodiment of the invention, the water dispenser (1) comprises a plurality of illumination means (16) provided on the control panel (15), enabling the user to perceive the amount of flavor remaining on the cartridge (7), selected volume of water, flavor level and the water temperature. By means of the illumination means, the user is informed when the amount of flavor on the cartridge (7) runs low, or when a certain temperature/amount of water, or a certain level/type of flavor are selected.
With the invention, a water dispenser (1) is provided, capable of providing flavored water. Obtaining flavored water is facilitated, which is needed to increase water consumption and required for various diets. A plurality of distinct flavors selected by the user can be added on the cartridge (7) provided on the water dispenser (1). The user determines the water temperature, water amount and the flavor level. The control unit (9) determines the flavor amount according to the parameters determined by the user, and enables the water and the flavor to be mixed homogeneously in the mixing chamber (6).

Claims (8)

  1. A water dispenser (1) comprising a body (2), a feeding region (3) provided on the body (2), enabling clean water to be delivered on the body (2), a pump (4) enabling conveying water (S) from the feeding region (3), and at least one heat changer (5) enabling the conveyed water to reach the temperature requested by the user, by changing its temperature, characterized by a cartridge (7) provided on the body (2), in which a plurality of various flavors are disposed, and by a mixing chamber (6) enabling the clean water delivered from the feeding region (3) and the flavors delivered from the cartridge (7) to be combined and mixed homogeneously.
  2. A water dispenser (1) according to claim 1, characterized by a flavor channel (8) whose one end is disposed on the cartridge (7) and the other end is disposed on the mixing chamber (6), enabling the flavor to be conveyed to the mixing chamber (6).
  3. A water dispenser (1) according to any one of the claims 1 or 2, characterized by a control unit (9) enabling conveying to the mixing chamber (6), water in an amount determined by the user and flavor in an amount adequate to the amount of water, predefined on the control unit by the producer for achieving the flavor level determined by the user.
  4. A water dispenser (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by the control unit (9) enabling achieving the desired flavor level by homogeneously mixing water in the selected temperature with the amount of flavor predefined on the control unit by the producer according to the water temperature and the flavor level determined by the user.
  5. A water dispenser (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by a mixer (12) provided on the mixing chamber (6) so as to be vertical to the base of the mixing chamber (6), comprising a plurality of flaps (11) on a vertical extension (10), and enabling the flavor and the water to be mixed homogeneously by means of the flaps (11) by rotation of the extension (10) about its own axis.
  6. A water dispenser (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by a weight sensor (13) provided on the base of the mixing chamber (6), enabling determining the weight value of the water amount determined by the user, corresponding to the water amount pre-saved to the control unit (9) by the producer.
  7. A water dispenser (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by a control panel (15) comprising a plurality of buttons (14) enabling the user to determine the water temperature, the water amount and the flavor amount.
  8. A water dispenser (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by a plurality of illumination means (16) provided on the control panel (15), enabling the user to perceive the amount of flavor remaining on the cartridge (7), selected volume of water, flavor level and the water temperature.
