Description
DEVICE FOR DETECTING AND ELIMINATING HARMFUL ELEMENTS IN
GROWING ENVIRONMENTS
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention can be included in the technical field of devices for disinfecting or sterilising materials or objects that use ultraviolet radiation, as well as in the field of disinfecting, sterilising or deodorising the air by means of ultraviolet radiation. It relates to a device for detecting and elmiinating harmful elements deposited on a surface, said device being able to be connected to a mobile element such as a drone or similar.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Many devices for disinfecting surfaces by applying radiation in the ultraviolet (UV) range are known in the current state of the art. Said devices have a limited scope, not being able to cover all the inner areas of a closed space having an irregular shape, and much less so for those areas that are covered by an object.
Another disadvantage of the current solutions is the need to vacate the area to be disinfected in advance.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a device for detecting and eliminating harmful elements, such as for example germs, viruses or bacteria, deposited on a surface, said device being able to be connected to a mobile element such as a drone or similar.
The device comprises, in addition to a support for connecting to the mobile element, at least a plurality of sensors, an infrared scanning device for detecting the harmful elements and a plurality of light emitters on the UV spectrum in order to proceed to eliminate the harmful elements detected.
The device further comprises an energy source, preferably rechargable, and a control element having specific software that, depending on the determinations of the scanning device, decides the actuation.
Furthermore, it is envisaged that the device incorporates a mobile telescopic arm that projects from the support for connecting to the mobile element, said arm having joints and movement elements with respect to the
support in order to be able to access the hardest-to-reach areas or areas with an irregular shape.
The device is especially designed for growing environments, although it is not limited to said application.
The main objective of the present invention is to provide an effective and proven solution for detecting and disinfecting all types of harmful elements, such as germs, fungi, viruses or bacteria, on any surface band by applying ultraviolet radiation treatment. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 shows a schematic side view of the device.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic front view of the device.
PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
With the help of the previously mentioned figures, a detailed explanation of a preferred exemplary embodiment of the object of the present invention is provided below.
The device for detecting and eliminating harmful elements, schematically shown in Figures 1 and 2, firstly comprises a support (1 ) for connecting to a mobile element of a drone type or similar, not shown in the attached figures, which allows it to move.
A mobile telescopic arm (2), which in turn comprises a plurality of joints (3) located along the arm (2) for folding and adapting to areas in corners, protrudes from the support (1 ) for joining to the mobile part. Movement elements (3) enable the arm (2) to be moved with respect to the support (1 ).
The arm (2) has a free end (5) on which a tray (6) is located that has an infrared scanning device (7) for detecting the harmful elements and a plurality of UV emitters (8) for eliminating the harmful elements. An external control (9), connected to the device wirelessly, actuates the UV emitters (8), the infrared scanning device (7) and the movement of the arm (2) with respect to the support
(1 )-
In this preferred embodiment, the tray (6) is made of a material with the capacity to reflect UV radiation, in order to prevent it from affecting unwanted directions. Tabs (10) protrude laterally from the tray (6) to prevent the lateral reflection of the UV radiation emitted from the UV emitters (8).
