     前記第1接続手段と、前記挿入口を介して収容される前記携帯型情報処理装置が有する第2接続手段との接続を検知する検知手段と、
     前記検知手段が前記接続を検知した場合に、前記入力手段がユーザから受け付けた入力情報を、前記携帯型情報処理装置に送信する送信手段と、
     前記送信された前記入力情報に基づいて前記携帯型情報処理装置が処理した結果に関する結果情報を受信し、受信した前記結果情報を前記出力手段に出力する受信手段と、を備える入出力装置。
