Abstract
Un système d'inspection de produit alimentaire comprend une source de rayonnement qui émet un rayonnement électromagnétique de haute puissance présentant une longueur d'onde appropriée pour éclairer un produit alimentaire et générer une réponse de photoluminescence de sa part. Un capteur d'imagerie détecte la réponse de photoluminescence et génère une image de photoluminescence du produit alimentaire. Un processeur de détection de la qualité analyse les images de photoluminescence pour détecter les propriétés du produit alimentaire en matière de qualité alimentaire. L'invention concerne également un système de tri pour trier les produits alimentaires sur la base de la position spatiale du produit alimentaire et en fonction des propriétés détectées en matière de qualité alimentaire. Le système peut déterminer efficacement la qualité du produit alimentaire en identifiant, par exemple, des aliments défectueux, réduisant ainsi les coûts de main-d'œuvre associés à l'inspection des produits alimentaires. L'utilisation d'un processeur pour traiter l'image de photoluminescence permet l'utilisation de normes de calibrage garantissant que les produits alimentaires présentent tous les mêmes caractéristiques après l'inspection.
