Abstract

Video security and alarm system of the type comprising at least one control and management unit, at least one image acquisition sensor, at least one alarm indicator and a central computer, wherein the image sensors forward metadata relating to the video streams to the central computer, which, upon triggering of an alarm, further processes said metadata for tracking an object detected by said image acquisition apparatuses.
