Abstract

This is an android warning system for the Type 1 and Type 2 diabetic patients consisting of the system menus giving audio and visual warnings reminding the injection times, correct insulin dosesto be implemented in the relevant injection limes, also reminding the times of the main meal and snacks to be taken according to the number or the time of injections.

Description

Description
Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetic Patients Warning Systems
Technical Field to which the Invention is relevant
Type 1 and Type 2 diabetic patients' injection time applicationis related to the android warning system for reminding of dose quantity, main meals and snacks.
State of the art
Although there are many android warning systems (such as times of prayer reminders, meeting reminders, etc.), as a result of research dorje by me, i have not met any injection time, dosage, main meal and snacks remainder for diabetic patients.
The technical problems that the invention aims to solve
Diabetic patients can forget about the injection time during the day for different reasonsand also can skip and implement them later.
For the reason that the diabetic patients, especially with increasing the injection numbers forgot in which mealtimewhich insulin injection dose they have to implement, they implement the wrong dose, incomplete dose of insulin, or not implement any dose of insulin.
Although the diabetic patients need to be very careful, they do not follow the diet that theyshould follow.
Most of the patients forget, not implement or ignore the snacks.
With the project expected to be effective in solving the problems outlined above, are aimed the following objectives:
Because this application will remind to diabetic patients the injection limes one by one it will minimize the problems, such as forgetting or skipping the injection times.
Because of the fact that while this application is warning the diabetic patients about the injection times one by one it will remind also the correct dose to be implemented, it will eliminate the problems such as wrong, incomplete application or completely not applying any dose.
As immediately after reminding the injection time will be done the meal warning, the patient will start taking the main meals he should eat. Thus, with the time the diet will be well established and organized. For the reason that the warning system will remind the snack time between two injections, it will also bring out the need of the diabetic patients, who care and pay attention to this,to comply with the snack timesdue to the pressure caused by the warning with the time.
Description of the invention
The warning system consists of android software. Patients, after installing this system to their various devices (as the telephone, computer, iPad etc.) through the internet connection, on the first menu which will appear in front of them they will enter the injection times and the dose quantities they have to implement at these injection times. After this entering the warning system will be activated and the warning system definitely will begin warning by the expression, warning about the dose quantity to be implemented at the times entered to the system, and also warning in direction that necessarily after injection the patient has to eat. The dose amount will appear as the figure, together with the written phrase reminding the meal times, on the display of the device to which the application has been installed. Because the injection times have been entered, the system will calculate automatically the snacks' times between the injections and will warn at the times for taking the snacks. Snack timeswili be calculated according to the injection numbers used by the patients. (While for the System while after each injection will warn every two hours, for the patient who will take a single injection will be done the main meal warning and then, two hours later - the snack warning.) A second menu will be available in the warning system. From this menu, the patients will be able to easily enter in the system the new dose or number of injections, changing over the time. After these changes, the warning system will begin to give the warnings in the light of the new entries. In addition, they will be able to choose the form of warning from a third menu, which will be available in the system. From this menu, they will be able to choose the audio warning section and also the silent vibrating (buzzer) warning form. (Thus, they will be able to benefit from this system without disturbance to the environment when audio warning is not suitable for different reasons). If they choose f*he audio warning form, they will be able to choose a preferred by them voice from the audio files available in the menu.
The industrial application of the invention
This warning system that brings audio and visual solutions to the above-mentioned problems, by applying as the android software can be used in all technological devices allowingusing of this software.
