Abstract

A cosmetic dispenser (10) with dual dispensing mechanisms for independently extending and retracting first and second cosmetics. A bi-directional body structure (12) has a central hub (30) and first and second inner body members (36, 48) projecting in opposite directions. First and second spiral members (14, 24) have body portions matingly and rotatably engaged with body portions of the first and second inner body members (36, 48). A first elevator member (20) can be extended and retracted by a relative rotation between the first spiral member (14) and the first inner body member (36), and a second elevator member (22) can be extended and retracted by a relative rotation between the second spiral member (24) and the second inner body member (48). The elevator members (20, 22) can be elevator cups (20, 22) for retaining cosmetic pomades (100A, 100B) and can have opposed lugs (76) that project through longitudinal tracks (38, 50) in the inner body members (36, 48).
