Abstract

Several embodiments includes a secured method of implementing an electronic transfer system in a distributed manner while enforcing an obligatory distribution rule. A computer can receive an electronic record representing an electronic transfer of a transfer amount from a source account to a destination account; verify availability of the transfer amount from the source account via a public ledger in a distributed consensus system; determine a conditional circumstance of the electronic transfer; access an obligatory distribution rule object, wherein the obligatory distribution rule object dictates how the transfer amount is distributed amongst the destination account and at least a third account; authenticate the obligatory distribution rule object with a sponsor server; and generate a second electronic record based on the obligatory distribution rule object, the conditional circumstance, and/or the electronic record to modify the electronic transfer to distribute a portion of the transfer amount to the third account.
