Abstract

A system and method for tracking articles as well as for preventing from losing or tethered from at least one article by a user. The system includes a remote unit and a tag unit using a Zigbee technology, wherein the remote unit communicates continuously to appropriate tags associated with each of the article in a much cheaper and economic way, thereby identifying the at least one tag associated with each of the article as when the article with associated tag is moved away from a certain bound distance.
