Abstract

This invention describes a method of using printed materials to construct fully functional three dimensional foldable interface objects bearing specific patterns of conductive ink, conductive plastic or metal pads for use directly on computer devices that have a capacitive touch screen. These touch screen interface objects have a variety of applications including; smart interactive packaging, on screen computer mice and interactive toys and games. Further it describes related embodiments where the touch screen interface object, which can be 2 or 3 dimensional, contains an integrated circuit which is powered through the capacitance screen of the computing device when touched. These interface objects enable data stored in the integrated circuit to be transferred into various kinds of applications software, for example for identification or authentication purposes.
