Abstract

The present invention relates to a system and method for creating and playing a datapod™ that includes the synchronized association of media and data objects. One embodiment of the present invention involves creating a datapod™ by acquiring a media object, annotating the media object with a data object, and associating the media object with the data object to form an ordered or synchronized relationship between the media object and data object which implicitly defines a visual/auditory or similar experiential connection. The present invention also provides its functionality with an easy to use user interface that enables the user to readily create the synchronous association and to share the resulting datapod™ with the intended audience.
