For example, if a bidder 12 wants the item or service 30 and is willing to pay the maximum price 22, the bidder 12 can bid the maximum price 22 at the start time 52 to essentially ensure that they will purchase (or are most likely to purchase) the item or service 30. Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé (10) permettant d'effectuer une soumission en ligne, un vendeur (16) créant des conditions de vente comprenant un prix de vente de départ ou maximum (22) et un prix de vente final ou minimum (24) et une durée (20) pour chaque article ou service particulier (30) qu'il souhaite vendre. La vente de chaque article ou service (30) commence au prix de départ (22) et diminue progressivement tout au long de la durée de l'enchère (20) jusqu'à ce que l'article ou le service atteigne le prix final (24). Un acheteur ou un soumissionnaire (12) dispose d'un accès complet aux conditions de vente fournies par le vendeur (16) comprenant le prix de départ (22), le prix final (24) et la durée de la vente (20).
