Abstract

La présente invention vise à proposer un système de fourniture d'informations de livre, et analogue, qui permet une fourniture fiable et efficace d'informations supplémentaires sous la forme de données textuelles à des livres numériques de différents formats de données. A cet effet, l'invention porte sur un terminal de livre numérique (10) qui comprend : une unité de calcul de quantité caractéristique (101) qui calcule une quantité caractéristique à partir d'une image continue de deux pages ou plus dans des données d'image d'un livre numérisé ; une unité d'envoi de quantité caractéristique (102) qui envoie la quantité caractéristique calculée à un serveur d'informations de livre numérique ; et une unité de stockage de libre numérique (103) qui reçoit des informations de livre numérique supplémentaires en provenance du serveur d'informations de livre numérique. Le serveur d'informations de livre numérique (30) comprend : un moyen de stockage externe (34) qui stocke préalablement des données de quantité caractéristique de livre (211) et des données d'informations de livre supplémentaires (202) ; une unité de recherche de quantité caractéristique de livre (201) qui recherche l'identificateur de livre correspondant à la quantité caractéristique reçue dans les données de quantité caractéristique de livre ; et une unité de recherche d'informations de livre supplémentaires (202) qui recherche les informations de livre numérique supplémentaires correspondant à l'identificateur de livre dans les données d'informations de livre supplémentaires, et envoie une réponse au terminal de livre numérique.
