Abstract

Disclosed is a method for controlling a touch screen. The method of the present invention involves displaying a pointer on a display panel which is spaced apart from a finger touch position on a touch panel by a predetermined distance and which is not visually covered by a finger, moving and displaying the pointer in accordance with the movement of the finger while maintaining a predetermined distance between the pointer and the finger when the finger moves while touching the touch position, enabling an object to be on standby for selection when the finger is removed from the touch panel while the display position of the pointer is set on the object to be selected, and selecting the standby object when a selection command is inputted before the display of the pointer is suppressed. Accordingly, an erroneous selection caused by an erroneous operation can be prevented during touch dragging on a touch screen.
