Abstract

A user subscribed to the safety service of the present invention is registered to a service server and receives an emergency terminal. A unique ID is saved in the emergency terminal, and the service server matches the ID with information on the subscribed user and saves same. The emergency device is normally turned off but is powered on when the user pushes an emergency button, which is provided on the emergency terminal, and transmits to the service server a rescue message including the current location and the unique ID, and the service server transmits the rescue message to the contact number of the user (guardian) corresponding to the unique ID which has been received. According to the present invention, the emergency terminal is powered on and requests a rescue only in an emergency situation, allowing efficient use of a wireless communication resource, and the application of a low capacity battery is possible due to low battery consumption, thereby effectively providing a small and low-cost terminal.
