Abstract
The embodiments of the invention provide a service scheduling method and apparatus under multiple Broadband Network Gateways (BNG), relating to the technical field of communications. The method includes: an access node transmits the current bandwidth usage information of an access line and/or the current bandwidth usage information of an uplink port of the access node to at least one BNG, to trigger the at least one BNG performs scheduling or admission control for services according to the current bandwidth usage information of the access line and/or the current bandwidth usage information of the uplink port of the access node. The embodiments of the invention are primarily applied in the procedure of performing hierarchical scheduling or admission processing for services under multi-BNG network architecture, thus improving the effective utilization rate of the downlink transmission bandwidth.
