Abstract

A camera mounted on an existing moving arm of a medical diagnostic automatic apparatus or other automatic process implementing equipment permits transmitting images to an operator, who, on the basis thereof, can make an inspection now and then of the process in progress. The camera is optionally supported by lighting that is such (wavelength, intensity, exposure duration) that the effect thereof on the process to be inspected is negligible and camera image quality is enhanced. An image signal from the camera can be displayed in real time and/or stored for later viewing and optionally correlated with data relating to processes conducted by the apparatus.
