Claims (10)
- 所定のネットワーク上に、1又は複数のデジタルコンテンツを記憶している情報記憶装置、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を管理する権利管理装置、及び前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツを再生する複数の情報再生装置が接続されて構成され、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利は、前記複数の情報再生装置の中のいずれか1つに付与されているとともに前記複数の情報再生装置の間で移転が可能であるコンテンツ再生システムにおける前記権利管理装置であって、
前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツと、該デジタルコンテンツの再生権利が付与された前記情報再生装置と、を対応付けた権利管理情報を記憶している情報記憶手段と、
前記情報再生装置から、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの中から選択されたデジタルコンテンツの権利状況及び再生状況を問い合わせる第1のリクエストを受信する第1のリクエスト受信手段と、
受信した第1のリクエストに基づいて、前記情報記憶手段に記憶された権利管理情報を参照し、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利がいずれの前記情報再生装置に付与されているかを示す権利管理情報を権利状況として取得する権利状況取得手段と、
前記権利状況取得手段で取得した権利状況から、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を有する前記情報再生装置に、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツが現在、再生されているか否かの再生状況を問い合わせる第2のリクエストを送信する第2のリクエスト送信手段と、
前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を有する前記情報再生装置から、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生状況を示す第2のレスポンスを受信する第2のレスポンス受信手段と、
前記権利状況取得手段で取得した権利状況及び前記第2のレスポンス受信手段で受信した再生状況に基づいて作成された、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの権利状況及び再生状況を示す第1のレスポンスを、前記第1のリクエストを送信した前記情報再生装置に送信する第1のレスポンス送信手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする権利管理装置。 - 前記第1のリクエストを送信した前記情報再生装置が、前記第1のレスポンスに基づいて、権利移転処理を行い、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を自装置に移転した場合には、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利が自装置にあることを示す権利移転メッセージを、前記第1のリクエストを送信した前記情報再生装置から受信するメッセージ受信手段と、
受信した権利移転メッセージに基づいて、前記情報記憶手段に記憶されている権利管理情報を更新する情報更新手段と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の権利管理装置。 - 所定のネットワーク上に、1又は複数のデジタルコンテンツを記憶している情報記憶装置、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を管理する権利管理装置、及び前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツを再生する複数の情報再生装置が接続されて構成され、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利は、前記複数の情報再生装置の中のいずれか1つに付与されているとともに前記複数の情報再生装置の間で移転が可能であるコンテンツ再生システムにおける前記権利管理装置が読み取り可能なコンピュータプログラムであって、
前記権利管理装置を、
前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツと、該デジタルコンテンツの再生権利が付与された前記情報再生装置と、を対応付けた権利管理情報を記憶している情報記憶手段と、
前記情報再生装置から、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの中から選択されたデジタルコンテンツの権利状況及び再生状況を問い合わせる第1のリクエストを受信する第1のリクエスト受信手段と、
受信した第1のリクエストに基づいて、前記情報記憶手段に記憶された権利管理情報を参照し、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利がいずれの前記情報再生装置に付与されているかを示す権利管理情報を権利状況として取得する権利状況取得手段と、
前記権利状況取得手段で取得した権利状況から、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を有する前記情報再生装置に、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツが現在、再生されているか否かの再生状況を問い合わせる第2のリクエストを送信する第2のリクエスト送信手段と、
前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を有する前記情報再生装置から、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生状況を示す第2のレスポンスを受信する第2のレスポンス受信手段と、
前記権利状況取得手段で取得した権利状況及び前記第2のレスポンス受信手段で受信した再生状況に基づいて作成された、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの権利状況及び再生状況を示す第1のレスポンスを、前記第1のリクエストを送信した前記情報再生装置に送信する第1のレスポンス送信手段と、
して機能させることを特徴とする権利管理プログラム。 - 前記権利管理装置を、
前記第1のリクエストを送信した前記情報再生装置が、前記第1のレスポンスに基づいて、権利移転処理を行い、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を自装置に移転した場合には、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利が自装置にあることを示す権利移転メッセージを、前記第1のリクエストを送信した前記情報再生装置から受信するメッセージ受信手段と、
受信した権利移転メッセージに基づいて、前記情報記憶手段に記憶されている権利管理情報を更新する情報更新手段と、
してさらに機能させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の権利管理プログラム。 - 所定のネットワーク上に、1又は複数のデジタルコンテンツを記憶している情報記憶装置、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を管理する権利管理装置、及び前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツを再生する複数の情報再生装置が接続されて構成され、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利は、前記複数の情報再生装置の中のいずれか1つに付与されているとともに前記複数の情報再生装置の間で移転可能であるコンテンツ再生システムであって、
前記権利管理装置は、
前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツと、該デジタルコンテンツの再生権利が付与された前記情報再生装置と、を対応付けた権利管理情報を記憶している情報記憶手段と、
前記情報再生装置から、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの中から選択されたデジタルコンテンツの権利状況及び再生状況を問い合わせる第1のリクエストを受信する第1のリクエスト受信手段と、
受信した第1のリクエストに基づいて、前記情報記憶手段に記憶された権利管理情報を参照し、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツがいずれの前記情報再生装置に付与されているかを示す権利管理情報を権利状況として取得する権利状況取得手段と、
前記権利状況取得手段で取得した権利状況から、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を有する前記情報再生装置に、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツが現在、再生されているか否かの再生状況を問い合わせる第2のリクエストを送信する第2のリクエスト送信手段と、
前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を有する前記情報再生装置から、前記再生状況を示す第2のレスポンスを受信する第2のレスポンス受信手段と、
前記権利状況取得手段で取得した権利状況及び前記第2のレスポンス受信手段で受信した再生状況に基づいて作成された、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの権利状況及び再生状況を示す第1のレスポンスを、前記第1のリクエストを送信した前記情報再生装置に送信する第1のレスポンス送信手段と、
を備え、
前記情報再生装置は、
前記第1のリクエストを前記権利管理装置に送信する第1のリクエスト送信手段と、
前記第1のレスポンスを前記権利管理装置から受信する第1のレスポンス受信手段と、
受信した第1のレスポンスの再生状況に基づいて、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツが現在、再生されていないと判断した場合には、受信した第1のレスポンスの権利状況に基づいて、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を有する前記情報再生装置から、当該デジタルコンテンツの再生権利を自装置に移転する権利移転処理を行う権利移転手段と、
前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を自装置内に保持することにより、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツを再生するコンテンツ再生手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするコンテンツ再生システム。 - 前記情報再生装置は、
前記権利移転手段により、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利の移転が行われた場合には、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利が自装置にあることを示す権利移転メッセージを前記権利管理装置に送信するメッセージ送信手段と、をさらに備え、
前記権利管理装置は、
前記権利移転メッセージを前記情報再生装置から受信するメッセージ受信手段と、
受信した権利移転メッセージに基づいて、前記情報記憶手段に記憶されている権利管理情報を更新する情報更新手段と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項5記載のコンテンツ再生システム。 - 前記情報再生装置は、
受信した第1のレスポンスの再生状況に基づいて、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツが現在、再生されていると判断した場合には、所定の表示装置の画面上に、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツを再生することは不可であることを示すメッセージを表示することを特徴とする請求項5又は6記載のコンテンツ再生システム。 - 前記情報再生装置は、
前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの一覧リストを表示するリスト表示手段と、
前記リスト表示手段により表示された一覧リストの中から一つのデジタルコンテンツを選択するコンテンツ選択手段と、
前記コンテンツ選択手段で選択されたデジタルコンテンツに基づいて、前記第1のリクエストを作成する第1のリクエスト作成手段と、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項5乃至7のいずれか1項に記載のコンテンツ再生システム。 - 前記第1のリクエスト送信手段は、
前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツのすべてに関して、前記第1のリクエストを送信し、
前記第1のリクエスト受信手段は、
前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツのすべてに関して、前記第1のレスポンスを受信し、
前記情報再生装置は、
受信した、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツのすべてに関する第1のレスポンスを加味して、前記情報記憶装置に記憶されたデジタルコンテンツの一覧リストを表示するリスト表示手段と、
前記リスト表示手段により表示された一覧リストの中から、再生可能な一つのデジタルコンテンツを選択するコンテンツ選択手段と、
をさらに備え、
前記権利移転手段は、
前記コンテンツ選択手段により選択されたデジタルコンテンツの権利状況に基づいて、前記選択されたデジタルコンテンツの再生権利を有する前記情報再生装置から、当該デジタルコンテンツの再生権利を自装置に移転する権利移転処理を行うことを特徴とする請求項5乃至7のいずれか1項に記載のコンテンツ再生システム。 - 前記情報再生装置は、
AACSマネージドコピーの規格に準拠した装置であり、所定のオリジナルのデジタルコンテンツを前記情報記憶装置にコピー処理した場合には、コピー処理した自装置に対して、コピーしたデジタルコンテンツの前記再生権利が付与されることを特徴とする請求項5乃至9のいずれか1項に記載のコンテンツ再生システム。
