First Embodiment
FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing an information input display apparatus according to the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1, the information input display device according to the first embodiment includes a touch panel 101, a contact position detection unit 103, a contact size measurement unit 105, a control unit 107, and a key selection unit 109. The control unit 107 includes a candidate key selection unit 111 and a display control unit 113.
The touch panel 101 outputs a signal indicating an area (hereinafter referred to as a “contact area”) touched or pressed by a display unit such as a liquid crystal panel and an external operation means such as a finger of the user of the information input display device or a stylus. And a position input unit.
The contact position detection unit 103 detects the contact position by the external operation unit on the touch panel 101 based on the signal output from the touch panel 101. The touch position detection unit 103 detects the center point of the touch area indicated by the signal transmitted from the touch panel 101 as a touch position by the external operation unit. A signal indicating the touch position detected by the touch position detection unit 103 is sent to the candidate key selection unit 111 of the control unit 107.
The contact size measurement unit 105 measures the vertical and horizontal lengths of the contact area on the touch panel 101 by the external operation unit based on the signal output from the touch panel 101. The vertical and horizontal lengths of the contact area are measured based on grid-like data shown in FIG. 2 generated from the signal output from the touch panel 101. A signal indicating the vertical and horizontal lengths of the contact area measured by the contact size measurement unit 105 is sent to the display control unit 113 of the control unit 107.
Among the virtual keys (hereinafter, simply referred to as “keys”) displayed on the touch panel 101, the candidate key selection unit 111 of the control unit 107 has a predetermined circular shape centered on the touch position detected by the touch position detection unit 103. The key included in the area of is selected as a candidate key. The predetermined area is not limited to a circular shape, and may be a rectangular shape. In addition, the display control unit 113 of the control unit 107 opens a space in the same longitudinal direction as the vertical length of the contact area measured by the contact size measurement unit 105, and a horizontal space in the same direction as the lateral length of the contact area. , And controls the touch panel 101 to display candidate keys.
FIGS. 3 and 4 are diagrams showing display examples of the touch panel 101 when the vicinity of the upper left key among the plurality of keys displayed on the touch panel 101 is touched with a finger. As shown in FIG. 3A, when the vicinity of the upper left key among the plurality of keys displayed on the touch panel 101 is touched with a finger, the touch panel 101 makes contact with a signal indicating a contact area represented by oblique lines. It is sent to the position detection unit 103 and the contact size measurement unit 105.
The contact position detection unit 103 detects, as a contact position, the central point of the contact area indicated by a black circle in FIG. The candidate key selection unit 111 selects the keys “A”, “B”, “D”, and “E” completely included in the circular area 151 represented by the dotted line in FIG. Is selected as a candidate key. Note that the candidate key selection unit 111 is a key (keys “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”, “E”, “F”, “G”, “H”) at least a part of which overlaps the area 151. "," "I") may be selected as candidate keys. The contact size measurement unit 105 measures the vertical length A and the horizontal length B of the contact area indicated by hatching in FIG. 3B. The display control unit 113 controls the touch panel 101 to display four candidate keys at intervals equal to the length A in the vertical direction and at intervals equal to the length B in the lateral direction.
Also in the case shown in FIG. 4, the display control unit 113 has the same interval as the longitudinal length C of the contact area in the vertical direction, and the same interval as the lateral length D of the contact area in the lateral direction. The touch panel 101 is controlled to display four candidate keys "A", "B", "D", and "E". Note that, in the present embodiment, the display control unit 113 leaves only the intervals as described above without changing the sizes of the candidate keys.
When the non-contact state is entered from the contact state with the touch panel 101 by the external operation means, the key selection portion 109 determines the candidate key touched by the external operation means immediately before the non-contact state as the input key. When the key selection unit 109 determines the input key, a confirmation signal is sent from the key selection unit 109 to the display control unit 113 of the control unit 107. When the display control unit 113 receives the confirmation signal, the display control unit 113 controls the touch panel 101 to return from the display state of the above-mentioned spaced candidate keys to the original display state where there is no spacing.
FIG. 5 is a flow chart showing the operation of the information input display apparatus of the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 5, first, in step S101, the touch panel 101 determines a touch by the external operation unit, and when there is a touch, a signal indicating a touch area is output, and the process proceeds to step S103. In step S <b> 103, the touch position detection unit 103 detects a touch position by the external operation unit on the touch panel 101. Next, in step S105, the candidate key selection unit 111 selects, from among the keys displayed on the touch panel 101, a key included in a predetermined circular area centered on the touch position as a candidate key.
Next, in step S107, the contact size measurement unit 105 measures the vertical and horizontal lengths of the contact area on the touch panel 101 by the external operation unit. Next, in step S109, the display control unit 113 displays candidate keys at intervals in the vertical direction equal to the vertical length of the contact area and at intervals in the horizontal direction equal to the horizontal length of the contact area. The touch panel 101 is controlled to do so. Next, in step S111, the touch panel 101 determines whether or not the touch by the external operation means is maintained. If the touch state is maintained, the process returns to step S103. If the touch state is the non-touch state, the process proceeds to step S113.
In step S113, the key selection unit 109 determines, as an input key, a candidate key touched by the external operation means immediately before the touch panel 101 is brought into the non-contact state. Next, in step S115, the display control unit 113 controls the touch panel 101 to return from the display state of the candidate keys spaced apart in step S109 to the original display state not spaced apart.
As described above, according to the information input display device of the first embodiment, the candidate keys in the vicinity of the touch position on the touch panel 101 by the external operation means have the same vertical direction as the vertical and horizontal lengths of the touch area and Displayed with horizontal space. Thus, since the candidate key is displayed on the touch panel 101 in a state where an interval corresponding to the size of the touch area by the external operation means is provided between the candidate keys, the contact by the external operation means is limited to one candidate key Be done. As a result, the key selection unit 109 reliably selects a key intended by the user of the information input display device as an input key. Therefore, erroneous input can be prevented with high accuracy.
Further, in the present embodiment, only a part of virtual keys displayed in the vicinity of the touch position on the touch panel 101 by the external operation means is displayed as the candidate key in the above-described form. The candidate key provided with the above-mentioned interval can be displayed.
Furthermore, in the present embodiment, since the interval between adjacent candidate keys is determined at the time of touch by the external operation means, it is possible to prevent erroneous input with high accuracy even if the user of the information input display device of the present embodiment changes. Interval is set between candidate keys.
Second Embodiment
FIG. 6 is a block diagram showing an information input display apparatus according to the second embodiment. The information input display device of the second embodiment includes a contact time measurement unit 201 in addition to the components included in the information input display device of the first embodiment. Note that the display control unit 213 according to the present embodiment further performs the operation described below according to the signal input from the contact time measurement unit 201. Except this point, the second embodiment is the same as the first embodiment. In FIG. 6, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 denote the same constituent elements in FIG.
The contact time measurement unit 201 measures the continuous contact time with the touch panel 101 by the external operation unit based on the signal output from the touch panel 101. The display control unit 213 according to the present embodiment controls the touch panel 101 so that the candidate key selected by the candidate key selection unit 111 is enlarged according to the continuous contact time measured by the contact time measurement unit 201.
FIGS. 7 and 8 are diagrams showing display examples of the touch panel 101 when the vicinity of the upper left key among the plurality of keys displayed on the touch panel 101 is continuously touched by a finger. As shown in FIGS. 7A and 8A, the size of each candidate key immediately after the finger touches the touch panel 101 and the candidate key is displayed has a vertical length of X1 and a horizontal length. Is a rectangle of Y1. Thereafter, when the finger continues to be touched at the same position on the touch panel 101, the display control unit 213, as shown in FIGS. 7 (b) and (c) and FIGS. 8 (b) and (c), is proportional to the continuous contact time. The touch panel 101 is controlled to expand and display each candidate key while maintaining the aspect ratio. In addition, you may set the maximum value at the time of enlarging and displaying each candidate key.
FIG. 9 is a flowchart showing the operation of the information input display device of the second embodiment. As shown in FIG. 9, in the second embodiment, step S201 is performed between step S101 and step S103 in the flowchart shown in FIG. In step S201, the contact time measurement unit 201 starts measuring the continuous contact time by the external operation unit.
Further, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 9, step S209 is performed instead of step S109 in the flowchart shown in FIG. In step S209, the display control unit 213 sets the vertical interval equal to the vertical length of the contact area and the horizontal interval equal to the horizontal length of the contact area, and the size according to the continuous contact time The touch panel 101 is controlled to display the candidate key of the size. The process other than the above steps S201 and S209 is the same as the process of the first embodiment shown in FIG.
As described above, according to the information input display device of the second embodiment, the candidate keys are enlarged and displayed on the touch panel 101 as the continuous contact time with the touch panel 101 by the external operation unit becomes longer. For this reason, the user of the information input display apparatus can reliably select the intended key. Therefore, erroneous input can be prevented with higher accuracy.

Except this point, the second embodiment is the same as the first embodiment, and in FIG. 10, the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 denote the same constituent elements in FIG.
According to the information input display device of the third embodiment, even if there is a change in the size of the touch area, each candidate key is displayed on the touch panel at an interval corresponding to the maximum value in the vertical and horizontal directions during the touch. Therefore, the user of the information input / display apparatus can reliably select the intended key even in a situation where the touch of the touch panel 101 by the external operation means occurs. Therefore, erroneous input can be prevented with higher accuracy.

The information input display device of the fourth embodiment includes a memory 401 in addition to the components of the information input display device of the first embodiment. The memory 401 stores data of the touch position detected by the touch position detection unit 103 and the longitudinal and horizontal lengths of the touch region measured by the touch size measurement unit 105 over the contact time with the touch panel 101 by the external operation unit. Data is stored.
As shown in FIG. 12, the display control unit 413 according to the present embodiment generates a combined contact area based on the contact position and the contact area stored in the memory 401, and has the same longitudinal direction as the longitudinal length of the combined contact area. The touch panel 101 is controlled to display candidate keys with an interval of and the same horizontal interval as the horizontal length of the combined contact area.
According to the information input display device of the fourth embodiment, when there is a shake of the touch by the external operation means on the touch panel 101, each candidate key is displayed on the touch panel at an interval according to the size of the shake.
