Abstract

The invention relates to a system for processing a request to obtain data issued by a client, including: - a plurality of nodes (201, 202, 203, 204, 205) organised into a P2P network, suitable for storing a data set distributed across the various nodes and storing an identification table (200) suitable for identifying the node among the plurality of nodes that is capable of supplying the data in response to the request, characterised in that said system includes: - a proxy server (30) storing said table, to which the request is intended to be directed, said server only being suitable for, upon receiving the request: - identifying, based on the table, the node capable of supplying the data in response to the request, and – retransmitting the request to the identified node.
