Abstract

The present invention relates to infrared remote control systems for controlling lighting, lighting remote control systems using visible light signals, lighting remote control systems using ultrasounds, lighting remote control systems using audible sound signals and radiofrequency remote control systems for lighting allowing remote control of lighting and facilitating the turning on and turning off of electrical lighting. The lighting remote control system is characterized in that it comprises an emitter (18) which has an ON/OFF control (10), a sleep control (19), a sound and light wake-up control (20) and an intensity control (21) and comprises a receiver (17) characterized in that it comprises an electronic circuit (16) which receives the signals emitted by the emitter and makes it possible to power the lamp (14) so as to turn on or cut off the electric current from the mains (15) and turn it off, to vary the intensity of the lighting of the lamp or the light source, to self-program through its emitter so as to turn off the light after the length of time Δt' and trigger the alarm which it contains with illumination of the light progressively during the length of time Δt or in one go, or otherwise, at the alarm time programmed by the user, (15) clock.
