Economical insulin injection pen operating method:
A. Filling: the content body no. (8) is installed on the motor body no.(l), it is tightened and the filling tip no. (16) is installed on the content no. (8) then it is inserted in the insulin vial and we push an appropriate quantity of air into the insulin vial for which the insulin shall be taken for filling the content with the quantity required for injection for many days through rotating the movement roller to retreat the presser along with the insulin. Upon sucking the insulin, we would notice the movement indicator has gone back to the scale end. Thus, we replace the filling tip no. (16) with the needle no. (9). After installing the needle no. (9), we adjust the insulin present in the content in the content and push out the air produced from the filling process. Now, the pen is ready for many times injection.
B.Injection Method:
1-The patient will insert the needs and the roller (2)is moved to push the insulin. When moving the roller, the indicator no. (4) will move on the scale shown. Upon stopping on the number specified by the physician, the injection thus is done with the specified quantity.
Or
2- The patient will specify the quantity he would inject. So he would move the adjustment valve no. (6) to the specified number and fix it in front of the number. Afterwards, he will rotate the movement roller to push the presser.
When the indicator reaches ultimately the adjustment valve, the injection is so done.
Or
3When injecting, the patient will remove the needle tap, or install it and place the pen on the injection place on the injection spot with fixing the cover on the skin by thumb and index finger while the pen is upright on the injection spot.
Afterward, the pen body is rotated twice so that the needle tip can by inserted into the injection spot without feeling pain, and he will rotate the movement roller to press the insulin specified quantity(use of adjustment valve is preferred) and the pen is rotated in a direction opposite to the former rotations so that the injection needle may be taken out without feeling pain. Economical insulin injection pen use method with the other containers(pen vials):
- We place the insulin vial (designed for other types of pens)in the alternative content no.(10),then install and tighten the content on the movement body no. ( 1 ). Afterwards, we install and tighten the needled on the alternative content and move the movement roller (2)for pressing and producing one or two drops for adjustment, and so the pen will be ready for injecting.
The alternative content body is made of the transparent whit glass and is of different sizes. ( in the case of mconsistence of the inner tip of the motor body ( 1 )and the outer tip of the
alternative content body (10), we may use the joint no.(l 1) or (12) which is open-ended for the movement of the presser between the two compartments, and is tipped from two sides, one inner and another outer, for the sake of correspondence of and linking the two parts. It is of different sizes.
