Abstract

A communication terminal capable of providing accurate position information even if the communication terminal moves after having transmitted supplied satellite data to a server until having received the calculation result (position data) after the comparison and calculation by the server. In this communication terminal, a positioning computing section (107) performs positioning computing by using satellite acquisition information. A radio communication section (108) transmits the positioning result of the positioning computing to the server and receives the position information transmitted from the server. A correction value detecting section (110) determines the moving distance of the communication terminal (100) within the time period after the radio communication section (108) has transmitted the positioning information until it has received the position information. A correction section (111) corrects an error produced in the position information on the basis of the moving distance determined by the correction value detecting section (110). A positioning result display section (112) displays the corrected position information.
