Abstract

本発明の課題は、増設後の無線基地局のリソース利用率を推定して次に増設が必要となる期日を予測可能な無線アクセス網管理装置を提供することにある。本発明の無線アクセス網管理装置は、無線基地局を増設する位置周辺の既存無線セルに対して既存無線セルのカバー面積と過去の通信トラフィック統計の時系列とから単位面積あたりのトラフィック需要を求める手段と、無線基地局の増設後の無線セル毎のカバー面積を推定する手段と、無線基地局の増設後の無線セル毎のトラフィック需要をカバー面積と単位面積あたりのトラフィック需要とに基づいて予測する手段と、その予測したトラフィック需要に基づいて将来の通信品質を予測する手段とを有する。
