Abstract

Provided is a radio propagation simulator which can rapidly and accurately estimate radio propagation characteristic of a limited evaluation area of an entire area to be considered upon estimation. The radio propagation simulator estimates a state of radio propagation reaching the limited evaluation area in the space from a transmission point by using a plurality of objects defined in the space. The radio propagation simulator includes: extraction means (a path extraction unit (20)) which extracts a path reaching the evaluation area by using a geometric-optical propagation estimation method; selection means (an object selection unit (30)) which selects an object by using the path extracted by the extraction means and the geometrical information on the evaluation area; and estimation means (a radio propagation characteristic estimation unit (40)) which estimates a detailed state of radio propagation reaching the evaluation area from the transmission point by using only the object selected by the selection means.
