Abstract

Provided is a communication control device which enables an existing client terminal which cannot execute a band control process, to receive a band-guaranteed streaming type content distribution service. Specifically, a communication control device includes: a first interface unit which connects a plurality of networks and which is connected to a content distribution server and to a band-guaranteed first network; a second interface unit connected to a second network to which a client is to be connected; a message acquisition unit which acquires a streaming protocol message of the client; a band control information generation unit which generates band control information according to the message acquired by the message acquisition unit; and a network control unit which sets a communication band of a streaming packet of the second network according to the band control information generated by the band control information generation unit. The content distribution server is connected to the client.
