Abstract
Provided is a frequency conversion device which frequency-shifts a baseband signal in accordance with a local signal for output. The frequency conversion device includes: a mixer which multiplies the baseband signal by the local signal and outputs the product; a demultiplexer which receives the baseband signal at a first port, outputs the received baseband signal from a second port for supply to the mixer, and outputs a leak component leaking from the mixer to the second port, from a third port which is different from the first port, without passing through the first port; and a baseband signal supply unit which supplies the baseband signal to the first port of the demultiplexer. The demultiplexer has: a low-pass filter which is arranged between the first port and the second port for passing a frequency component of the baseband signal and not passing a frequency component of the local signal; and a high-pass filter which is arranged between the third port and the second port for passing the frequency component of the local signal and not passing the frequency component of the baseband signal.
