Abstract

In a radio communication system wherein coexist a first-type terminal device which sends uplink data using OFDMA and sends control signal using CDMA, and a second-type terminal device which sends uplink data using any one of OFDMA and CDMA and sends control signal using CDMA, a base station divides uplink radio communication resources into OFDMA resources and CDMA resources for management, and performs resource allocation to the terminal device requesting the resource allocation while dynamically changing a ratio of OFDMA resources to CDMA resources according to the utilization rate of OFDMA resources.
