Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Abwickeln eines Parkvorgangs mit Hilfe eines Mobilfunkgeräts (30). Danach wird der Standort eines Autofahrers, welcher im Besitz eines Mobilfunkgerätes (30) ist, ermittelt wird, um prüfen zu können, ob sich der Autofahrer in einer Parkzone (20) befindet, innerhalb der er parken darf. Die Feststellung, ob sich der Autofahrer innerhalb einer zulässigen Parkzone (20) befindet, erfolgt anhand von GSM-Koordinaten oder einer Mobilfunk-Netzzellen-Kennung, welche den aktuellen Standort des Autofahrers definieren.
