Abstract

　仮想ライブラリシステム（１００）の仮想テープ装置（１０）は、バックアップ処理としてデータの書き込み要求を受け付けた場合には、論理ボリュームに記憶されたデータを自装置に所属するライブラリ装置（３０ａ、３０ｂ）内の物理ボリュームへ格納するマイグレーション処理を行う。続いて、ホスト（２０）が仮想テープ装置（１０）にエクスポート指示を通知すると、仮想テープ装置（１０）は、マイグレーション処理が完了した論理ボリュームに格納されたデータをネットワークを介して、副センタ側ライブラリ装置（３０ｃ）の物理ボリュームにエクスポートする。
