Abstract
The invention relates to a method for automated positioning of a removal tool for removing cell objects, wherein the removal tool is mounted in a mounting element on a toolholder, the spatial position of the cell object in a sample container being detected by means of an imaging unit and an image interpretation unit, and the removal tool being moved by means of a control and memory unit and a moving mechanism, first into a calibration position, then into a position above the cell object. In order to allow more precise positioning of the removal tool relative to the cell object to be removed, the imaging unit and the image interpretation unit subsequently detect the spatial position of the removal tool above the cell object and determine a deviation from the required position. The control and memory unit then corrects the position of the removal tool by means of the moving mechanism.
