Abstract

A plurality of preambles are grouped, the identifier of a mobile station and a group are specified to perform paging from a base station device, and a mobile station device for which the mobile station identifier is specified in the paging selects a preamble from the specified group, whereby a plurality of mobile station devices having simultaneously received the paging select different preambles from one another. With this, the collision between the mobile station devices can be avoided in random access using the thus selected preambles.
