Abstract
An inventive receiver apparatus receives, from a transmitter apparatus, known signals and radio signals including the known signals in time slots. The receiver apparatus comprises a propagation path variable-rate acquiring part (103) that acquires propagation path variable-rate information; a control part (104) that determines whether the propagation path variable-rate information exceeds a predetermined threshold value; a dividing part (105) that divides an information signal included in the radio signals into a plurality of blocks; and an estimating part (106) that, when it being determined that the propagation path variable-rate information exceeds the predetermined threshold value, uses the known signals included in the radio signals to calculate estimated values of propagation path characteristics for the respective blocks.
