Abstract

A digital broadcast reception device (100) of a digital broadcast system which broadcasts a single service by using a plurality of physical frequencies includes a storage unit (180) and a control unit (110). The storage unit (180) stores information for receiving frequency organization information indicating the correspondence between the physical frequency and the service broadcast by the digital broadcast system. When reception quality of the digital broadcast is degraded while receiving the digital broadcast, the control unit (110) performs control as follows. The digital broadcast broadcasting frequency organization information is received according to the information stored in the storage unit and the physical frequency broadcasting the service corresponding to the service of the digital broadcast whose reception quality is degraded is detected from the frequency organization information contained in the received digital broadcast. According to the detected physical frequency, the digital broadcast is received.
