Abstract

The invention relates to a door (1) including at least one frame (2) and at least one batten (3b), said batten having a substantially rectangular shape and being substantially vertically oriented and being defined at the side ends by vertical edges (31a, 31b) while the upper and lower ends are defined by horizontal edges (33, 34). The batten (3) is capable, on the one hand, of a dual rotation movement (R/R') both on itself about a preferably substantially central vertical axis (30) and relative to the frame and, on the other hand, of a rectilinear sliding movement (C1, C2) from at least one vertical edge (31, 32) in a horizontal direction (D1, D2) as a result of a sliding means. A guiding system (S1) in a direction (D1) includes at least two rails, one at the upper portion and the other at the lower portion of the door, at least one upper carriage and at least one lower carriage being attached to said proximal vertical edge (31) and each sliding respectively relative to each of the upper and lower rails, wherein the sliding of at least two said carriages being synchronised by at least one linking system for vertically aligning said upper and lower carriages.
