Abstract

A RAW data dividing circuit (31) divides RAW data input from a sensor into types of a plurality of color components. A color component selecting circuit (33) selects, among the types of the plurality of color components, the type of one color component used for motion detection. Only in the type of the color component selected by the color component selecting circuit (33), based on the raw data of this color component, a motion detection circuit (34) detects a motion vector. Based on the motion vector detected by the motion detection circuit (34) and the RAW data of the color components, a moving image compression circuit (35) performs compression of a moving image on each of the plurality of color components.
