Abstract
A mobile communication terminal includes: first radio communication means (102) corresponding to a first radio communication system; an interface (107) which can detachably connect an external device (200); judging means (111) which judges whether the external device (200) connected to the interface (107) is second radio communication means (202) which corresponds to a second radio communication system and consumes less power than the first radio communication means (102); battery voltage detection means (104) which detects a battery voltage of a power source unit (103) including a battery; and control means (111) which sets the first radio communication means (102) to a use-stop state if the first radio communication means (102) is being communicating and the battery voltage detected by the battery voltage detection means (104) is not greater than a predetermined value when the judging means (111) judges a connection of the second radio communication means (202). Thus, it is possible to effectively execute the multi-mode communication corresponding to the battery voltage without causing an unanticipated situation for a user.
