Abstract

A demand control system (1) includes a CPU (41) and a power database (45). The power database (45) stores actually collected data based on an accumulated power consumption value which has been actually consumed by a power consumer (10). At or before the current demand time limit start, the CPU (41) calculates a predicted accumulation value which is predicted to be consumed by the power consumer (10) within a demand time limit, according to the contents stored in the power database (45). Furthermore, the CPU (41) lowers the target power value if the calculated predicted accumulation value is lower than the target power value to be consumed within the demand time limit.
