Abstract

Provided is an on-vehicle video communication system which can simplify wiring between a plurality of imaging devices and video processors so as to reduce the total length of wires and reduce the size of each device. The on-vehicle video communication system includes: a first to a fourth imaging device (21, 22, 23, 24) for transmitting captured video data; a first to a fourth vide processors (31, 32, 33, 34) for processing video data; and a connection unit to which the first to the fourth imaging devices (21, 22, 23, 24) and the first to the fourth video processors (31, 32, 33, 34) are connected by communication cables (41, 4b), respectively. The on-vehicle video communication system further includes an on-vehicle relay device (1) which transmits the video data transmitted from the first to the fourth imaging devices (21, 22, 23, 24), to the first to the fourth image processors (31, 32, 33, 34) after selection or multiplexing of the data.
