Abstract

In a radio communication system in which an AP (Access Point: base station) performs communication with STAs (STAtions: terminals) by the SDMA, the AP acquires radio transmission line information from the STAs and corrects the radio transmission line information on the basis of the value of the quantization noise power or thermal noise power of each of the STAs of SDMA groups. The AP then determines communication capacity and communication time to be assigned to each of the STAs in the SDMA groups on the basis of the corrected radio transmission line information and request information from the STAs and performs the communication with each of the STAs of the SDMA groups on the basis of the determined communication capacity and communication time. Additionally, the AP evaluates the communication quality of the SDMA groups and excludes an SDMA group having inferior communication quality from communication candidates. This prevents the deterioration of communication caused by a quantization error and further reduces the amount of an operation during the communication.
