Abstract

Provided is a broadcast reception device (100) including: a reception unit (ANT1) which has a plurality of channels for receiving a broadcast signal; an operation input unit (108) which inputs a channel switching request received by the reception unit (ANT1); a channel switching unit (101) which performs switching upon input of a switching request, from a plurality of channels received by the reception unit (ANT1) to a channel based on the switching request; a display unit (107) which displays a video of a channel received by the reception unit (ANT1); an acquisition unit (111) which acquires a program table including explanation on a channel, a program broadcast time, a program name, and program broadcast content; a counting unit (114) which counts the number of channel switching times by the channel switching unit (101); and a control unit (110) which controls the display unit (107) so as to display a program table based on the switching destination channel by the latest channel switching when the number of channel switching times counted by the counting unit (114) has reached a preset number within a predetermined time.
