Abstract

The carryall folding chair is designed to make it possible for it to be used to move items usually utilized on the beach, is of the folding type and is provided with pivoting wheels on the legs. There is also a handle for it to be grasped and pushed/dragged. The chair incorporates a large bag fixed to the rear part of the back of the actual seat part. It also has a rocking base on the front legs, acts as a stiffener and incorporates a fixed leg or foot in its lower part, which guarantees that the chair overall is stable when folded and not in use. It also has support guides of circular shape and variable-length straps or webbing fixed in the underneath part of the actual seat of the chair and that fix said elements at mid-height. Furthermore, the rocking support base is able to pivot on the rod joining the two front legs, moving the stops that prevent said movement out of the way during transportation. In this way the support base will be incorporated between the two legs so as not to pose problems when the chair is unfolded in order for someone to sit on it.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a portable folding chair, whose obvious purpose is to incorporate the necessary elements to carry on it all the utensils that are commonly used on the beach, such as the umbrella, the mats under the towel, the towels, etc.

This invention has its application within the industry dedicated to the manufacture of chairs in general, and in particular those designed for the beach.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

As is known, the tendency to move to the beach to bathe and sunbathe is increasing, carrying with us those elements that provide greater comfort to our stay in the sand. This implies that a single person who wants to carry an umbrella to protect themselves from the sun, a towel, a mat to place under the towel, a chair to sit, and in general their personal belongings, is overwhelmed by the weight and volume of said utensils (that although they are manufactured with materials that weigh little they occupy their space) and in the end give up taking them all for not being able to with them.

Therefore, it is the object of the present invention to develop a folding beach chair that, in addition to facilitating its transport and being foldable, allows simultaneously the transport of all the utensils that are usually used in the plant, such as towels, umbrellas, mats etc. .

The portable folding chair that the invention proposes constitutes a highly studied solution that at the same time is endowed with great simplicity and easy handling, so that anyone can make use of it.

The folding beach chair basically consists of a folding chair made of different resistant and lightweight materials, such as plastic, wood, aluminum or alloys, of variable and adaptable dimensions and incorporating the necessary elements to transport all the utensils on it commonly used on the beach.

To do this and more specifically:

- The chair is of the folding type, being able to adapt its dimensions according to the needs and be made of any type of resistant material, preferably light.

- The chair is equipped with pivoting wheels on the rear legs, capable of varying position depending on the use that is intended for the chair.

- It has a handle to grip and push or drag it. - The chair incorporates a large bag fixed to the back of the seat back; This bag may contain towels, books, creams and other personal items that you want to transport.

- For the transport of the rest of the elements such as the umbrella and the mats that are usually placed under the towels, the chair has been provided with a tilting support base on the front legs.

- In addition, the umbrella and the mats are perfectly fixed to the folded chair through straps or straps of variable length that are fixed in the lower part of the seat of the chair and that tie said elements at half height. This figure also shows the possible movements of the moving parts, which allow the alternation from one position to another of the support base.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION.

In order to clearly show the nature and scope of the advantageous application of the invention, the following describes the operational characteristics of the portable folding chair.

In Figure 1 we can observe in a folded position the chair object of the invention, where it is shown that it has pivoting wheels (1), on which the assembly supports and rolls once it has been folded, tilted and proceeds to throw of the handle (2).

From the point of view of the stability of the assembly, the tilting base (4) of support consists of the necessary stops to guarantee its immobility during transport and especially in the resting position (in which when supporting the fixed leg and without these stops would fold over its longitudinal axis). As mentioned, the support base can pivot on the axis that joins the two front legs (longitudinal axis) if the stops that prevent said movement during transport are pressed towards the upper surface of the support base. In this way, the support base will be integrated between both front legs so as not to disturb when the chair is deployed to sit.

It is not considered necessary to make this description more extensive so that any expert in the field understands the scope of the invention and the advantages derived therefrom. The materials, shape, size and arrangement of the elements will be susceptible of variation as long as this does not imply an alteration to the essentiality of the invention.

Claims

1.- Portatodo folding chair, made of different resistant and lightweight materials, such as plastic, wood, aluminum or alloys, and consisting of a folding chair of variable and adaptable dimensions, with a seat, a backrest, front legs and rear legs and incorporating the necessary elements to carry on it all the utensils commonly used on the beach, characterized in that it has: - pivoting wheels jointly connected to the rear legs.
