Abstract

The present invention relates to telecommunications and mobile telephone communications. A method for establishing communication between subscribers is based upon the fact that a mobile communications subscriber who may access the Internet through his mobile phone sends a connection request to the connection device using the connection ordering programme and the Internet protocol by indicating which subscriber number should be connected with which number and how many such subscribers should be automatically interconnected. The device for establishing mobile communication between subscribers, used to implement this method, consists of a subscriber database, an authorization programme, a connection programme and a telephone switchboard.

Description

Method and device for establishing communication between mobile telephone subscribers
The present invention relates to telecommunications and mobile telephone communications.
At the present time a mobile communications subscriber wishing to establish a connection uses the communications network of his mobile operator. The traditional connection is established as follows:
Connection request Connection
Mobile Mobile ► Second communication communications subscriber subscriber company
There is also the so called call-back method wherein a subscriber requests a connection through the communication network of his mobile operator by calling the connection device of the call-back company and the said device calls the subscriber back. Under this method the connection is established with the subscriber who has requested the connection.

Connection Connection
The method described in US Patent 6,741,691 Bl is also used, wherein the connection is requested by a mobile telephone subscriber who sends an SMS message to the call-back connection device in which he indicates the other subscriber with which he wants to establish a connection. Under this method connection is also established with the subscriber requesting the connection.
The disadvantage of the above-described methods is that they limit the choice and the number of interconnected subscribers. There is also no opportunity to request a connection between third persons for someone who is not taking part in the said connection.
The following method is suggested for solving this problem:
A mobile communications subscriber who has access to the Internet through his mobile telephone (hereinafter referred to as MT) sends to the connection device a connection request by way of Internet protocol (hereinafter referred to as IP), using a connection program.
Under this request a mobile communications subscriber specifies which subscriber number should be connected to which subscriber number (which may or may not be his own number) and how many such subscribers should be automatically interconnected.
The connection device automatically connects the subscriber numbers specified in the request.
The present method has the following advantages:
1) the subscriber may choose which and how many subscribers should be interconnected;
2) the subscriber may interconnect other subscribers without participating in the connection.
The following is a description of the essence of the method suggested in the invention
A subscriber (1) whose mobile telephone (MT) is connected to the Internet (2) installs a special connection programme. When the subscriber (1) wishes to request a connection, he sends a request over the Internet (3) from his MT (2) by applying the internet protocol (IP) to the protocol connection device (4). The connection device (4) checks whether the subscriber (1) has such a right and automatically establishes connection according to the numbers specified in the request. In other words, it connects subscriber (1) with subscriber (5), or interconnects subscribers (6) and (7), or interconnects subscribers (1), (5), (6), and (7) into a conference. The subscriber database (8) safely stores data about the subscribers who are provided with this connection ordering service.
The authorization programme (9) determines whether or not the subscriber is permitted to use this connection ordering service.
The connection programme (10) sends the numbers specified in the connection request to the telephone switchboard.
The telephone switchboard (11) connects the specified numbers. The following is a flowchart showing the operation of this connection device:
