Abstract

The invention concerns a device for receiving scrambled data comprising a security processor adapted to transmit only one first part of the control word (CWc) to a descrambling unit, said first part of the control word being insufficient by itself to descramble the scrambled data. The descrambling unit comprises an assembly module (68) capable of completing the first part of the control word transmitted by the security processor to construct a complete control word sufficient for descrambling the scrambled data.
