Abstract

The invention relates to a routing module for the forwarding of messages in an ad-hoc multi-hop network. Said routing module in a first embodiment is embodied for cooperation with a terminal in the network. Routing information is evaluated by the routing module and checks whether the target is defined by the terminal. In another embodiment said routing module is used in an ad-hoc multi-hop network, comprising a number of terminals, representing nodes of the network. The routing module then has an embodiment to provide an additional network node for improved networking for the terminals in the network. The above permits generation of more efficient and secure routing in ad-hoc multi-hop networks.
