Abstract

The invention relates to a method for providing a positional PoC service. The invention is based on combining a positioning system, speech synthesis, and a PoC or voice-message service, so that a possibility is created to target messages to users in or entering a specific area. In addition, the service can also be combined with a voice-controlled PoC service, which is included in the ordering system in the figure, as one control channel for the service. Alongside the voice message, it is possible to use systems based on the distribution of a text or image, in the future also messages containing a video image.
